Job Profile: Barnhart is seeking a motivated spring or summer public relations/social media
intern for approximately 15-18 hours per week (days/time are negotiable). A stipend or
school credit will be provided.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Researching
Building and maintaining media lists
Monitoring and recording media coverage
Writing and editing
Social media monitoring and updating
Coordinating PR programs, special events and contests
New business involvement
Media pitching
Community outreach
Requirements include:
Strong writing and editing skills
Social media skills
Strong communication skills
Proactive
Demonstrated organizational skills
Demonstrated multi-tasking skills
