Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following vacant posts
where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-07)

Bachelor of Science.
Hold a Valid Pakistani ATPL with a current type rating on one of the commercial and / or
military / transport aircraft types registered in Pakistan.
Minimum experience of 5000 hours with Pilot in-Command rating on Commercial /
Military / transport aircraft.
Should have held previous appointments either in operational managements, as an
airline pilot and designated examiner, or training instructor, or as a military pilot where
equivalent experience in air operations would have been acquired.
Candidate should have a broad knowledge of:

Air transport operations

Meteorology and Climatology

Technical and Flight Simulation Training Devices.


Auditing Techniques.
Rs.450,000/- on lump sum basis with 5% annual increment.

Additional Director (General Aviation) (EG-07) (Merit-01)

BA/B.Sc with a valid Commercial Pilot License
Minimum 2500 hours of flying experience including at least 1000 hours on any
multiengine jet / turbo prop / piston engine aero-plane.
Qualified Flying Instructor from a recognized flying training Institute.
P-1 flying experience on a variety of aircraft.
10 years of experience in a General Aviation organization or compatible Armed
Forces Institute.
Experience in operational management and examination or compatible Armed
Forces experience.

Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / I.T / Computer

Engineering at least 2 Division from HEC recognized university.
Candidates must have in depth knowledge of;
a) Database Administration of Oracle EBS R12.0 or above with Data Base 10G/11G.
b) Database Administration of Oracle databases 10G/11g & SQL Server including all
the core functions of DBA.
c) Oracle RAC, Data Guard with UNIX / LINUX is also required.
Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience as ERP Application Database
Administrator in a large Organization.
Should have hands on experience to manage and maintain data on all production and
non production servers with vast experience in Core and Application Database
Administration, on multi node Oracle RAC environment, data-guard, design and
develop backup and recovery policy with DR Plan, database security and
troubleshooting with trainings / certifications in these areas are preferred.
Also Preference will be given to those experiences of managing data on Exadata
technologies and working knowledge of web logic server.
Must have experience of Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard.

12.0 or above on Financial and Supply chain Modules.
Preference will give to those who have Oracle certified and knowledge of Application
and web logic server.

Assistant Director IT (Oracle Financials Functional Consultant) (EG-01)

Contract Period : 02 (Two) years (extendable)
Bachelor/Master degree in Commerce / Finance/ Business Administration at least
2nd Division from HEC recognized university.
Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience as Oracle Financial functional
consultant in a large organization specifically in ERP implementation projects.
Should have hands on experience of at least 2 cycles of ERP implementations in the
area of financial management (FA, AP, AR, GL, CM and Property Manager) and/or
along with trainings / certifications are Preferred.
Maximum 40 years

(e)

Applicants would be required to attach the original Bank Deposit Receipt with the application
otherwise their application will not be entertained.

(f)

All the interested candidates must read the Terms of Reference (TOR) mentioned in this
advertisement before applying for the post.

Terms of Reference
i)

Age Relaxation will be allowed as per Federal Govt Rules (please visit

ii)
Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete applications shall
not be considered.
iii) Applicants holding equivalent qualifications must produce Equivalence Certificate issued
from HEC in respect of the particular qualification.
iv) Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for
which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).
v)
No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.
vi) Appointment will be subject to CAAs medical fitness standards.
vii) Selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
viii) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations including CAA
employees should send their applications through proper channel. NOC from current
employer is mandatory before test / interview.
ix) Application received after due date will not be considered / entertained.
x)
Selected candidates for the post of Assistant Air Traffic Control Officer shall undergo basic
training at Civil Aviation Training Institute, Hyderabad and during training they will get fixed
stipend. Their appointment will be subject to successful completion of training. They shall also
be required to execute a standard Surety Bond for a sum of Rs.2,500,000/- (Rupees Twenty
Five Hundred Thousand Only) at the time of joining in CAA.
xi) Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a
definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate
is otherwise qualified.
xii) In case, any educational documents found fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected
candidate will be terminated immediately and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
