will be loining the faculty in February as professor in Helsrew language,
and will also be teaching the course In the Book of Danlal. The Knapp
children will probably come with her. So Alaska Christian Bible Institute
is expanding and progressing.

But, what about Zlon College of Bibical Studles-the School that was begun

by the Knay,pM in 19697 Well, it is going forward too. _Sister Knapp is _ __

presently remaining in Vancouver to continue that work. One of its original


students iias already come to Alaska to continue his education and to

work toward the Bachelor of Religious Leadership degree. He is Brother

Elmer Varner. Bro. Varner was the first official student of Zlon College

Hebrew language with the Knapps for three years, beginning


in 1966 and continuing through the first semester of 1969. Now, he is

continuing his work in Alaska.

Romans, Bible Geography, Psalms, Daniel, O.T. Survey, Christian Education,


Hebrew language, English, Church History and the Gospel of John.
We are involved in the following programs; visiting the churches
across our land for 3z months; conducted a Winter February Christian Rally
with Brother and Sister Moreland of Anchorage doing the preaching; held
Spring Revival with Harold S. Reyman of Fairbanks doing the preaching;
encouraged Senior, Intermediate and Junior Christian camps during summer;
improved our campus; held Houston Family camp on our campus with our stu
dents and ministers doing the preaching.
Our Alaska Christian Bible Institute classes have been regularly

taught for 2 full 18 week semesters.

Elmer Varner, our student preparing

to take Christ to the deaf has been sick and will endure surgery for gall
bladder and stones in Seattle, where it will be financed.

Dr. Knapp and I will be available to meet some of our churches and
Bible Colleges when the finances are,Xorth coming.

We are inviting four-student interns from Dallas Christian College


and Kentucky Christian "College to help us this summer. They will be in
volved in our intern mission program of counseling and our Christian and
Family camps.
