My warmest congratulations dear graduates!
Today marks another milestone of your journey towards excellence. It
has been an arduous but fruitful undertaking making education as one of your
top priorities in life. I am amazed with how you have responded
to the
challenges of time that tested your principles, life skills and resilience. I am
happy that you never lost your will to continue to reach for your dreams
despite the many concerns that our country had experienced. The past years
have been encumbered with a lot of changes and developments in our
education system but you have been adaptive to the circumstances, indeed you
have proven yourselves worthy of a decent future.
This years graduation theme Saktong Buhay: Sa De-Kalidad na
Edukasyon Pinanday focuses on providing quality education to nurture the
Filipino Youth and ensure them of a better future. DepEd has been consistent in
improving the education system to fully equip our graduates with the
necessary skills to win the race towards achieving global competence. This is
what DepEd envisions for our Filipino graduates- to develop the 21 st century
skills among our Filipino learners not only for their self improvement but for
the welfare of the whole country.
Dear graduates, you are not alone in your journey. Rest assured that
