NOTES:
1.Desuperheater contains two control valves.( date sheet see page 3 and 4) .
2.Temperature control valve TV-2052,Pressure control valve PV-032A provided by desuperheater vendor.
3. Hot-standby flow (steam =180kg/hr & BFW = 11 kg/hr) is not controlled flow. We assume that this is
passing flow thru valve while valve is full closed to ensures smooth and quick valve response during requirement.
4. This valve will normally remain full close and during Plant emergency (critical situation), this valve has to
open from fully close to ~50% within 1 sec. Since operation of this valve is critical and vital during such
situation and significant pressure / temperature difference between upstream and downstream of valve, our
designer has foreseen requirement of small flow passing thru this valve at full close condition to avoid
stuking or delayed opening of this valve.
5. Manufacturer is required to ensure / provide recommendation that valve is designed to eliminate chances
of valve sticking; due to differential temperature/differential pressure or internal erosion, and valve is able
