2015 P.R.

and Engagement Intern


Overview
The P.R. and Engagement intern will support the public relations and engagement team on
various P.R. and digital projects and tasks. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Digital Project Management

Enter website content via client CMS


Participate in digital project quality assurance reviews
Other miscellaneous requests such as: gathering assets, create copy deck and SEO
templates, produce screenshots for website proofreading, etc.

Social Media

Interact with creative and engagement teams to create and implement assets
Provide assistance in planning and writing social media content for campaign channels
Manage communities for campaigns social channels including Facebook and Twitter
Build campaigns social media communities by identifying key influencers in the social
space
Implement best practices for integrating social media and PR efforts.
Identify social conversations and engagement opportunities; form smart immediate
responses to appropriate conversations that are relevant to our clients brand.
Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our clients
brands; report to appropriate parties.
Inspire spontaneous interaction and engagement with target audiences by actively
creating and curating new and innovative content on a regular basis
Become familiar with and utilize technology and social practices to maximize social
programs: video posting, measurement tools, etc.

Public Relations

Media tracking and reporting


Media database management and media list creation
Assist with various research projects as needed
Assist in the development of client written materials
Assist with promoting R&Rs work
Assist in media identification and engagement
Assist in the development of campaign ideas; execute tactics as guided
Various project management tasks as assigned

Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work scheduled hours as set forth by supervisor

Employment Terms
The position is open until filled, with an immediate
Compensation: $10 per hour for approximately 29 hours per week
Length of internship and work schedule/hours will be determined at time of selection
