Corporate Register

The Corporate Register is a database of Brazilian and foreign companies

interested in participating in biddings for Petrobras.
These companies, either Brazilian or foreign, are eligible to provide to
Petrobras high complexity services or equipment/goods, which are under
Petrobras permanent interest.
The evaluation approval, as part of the registration process,
ensures the incorporation of the company in the Petrobras
Corporate Register, obtaining the CRCC Certificate of
Registration and Classification. Then, the company could be
invited to participate in new biddings.

It is an e-Procurement portal, which provides tools for acquiring goods and
services for Petrobras System companies and their suppliers. In its business
platform several transactions are carried out ranging from requests for quotes
and sending proposals to management of orders and contracting.

Technical Requirements for Materials and Equipment
Depending on the material or equipment, the supplier must
comply with the following requirements:
Tradition of supply (Reference Letters)
Facilities for technical assistance (in case of Automation
Systems, Rotating Machinery etc)
Mandatory product certification (API, ASME etc)
Other specific requirement
Registration is per plant

Technical Requirements for Services
Depending on services criticality, the supplier must comply with
the following requirements:
Tradition (List of services provided - Reference Letters)
List of equipment related to services provided
Main personnel curricula vitae
Other specific requirement
In order to render services in Brazilian territory, the
company must have a subsidiary or partner company in Brazil.

Commercial Requirements (Legal and Economical)
Those apply only to the companies that trade directly or provide
services to Petrobras.
Equipment suppliers may have a distributor/reseller to trade their
products on their behalf. In this case, the commercial
requirements will apply to the distributor/reseller.

Legal Requirements
Proof of being duly established in country of origin
Legal representative in Brazil (Power of Attorney to an individual
or another company)
Letter stating that the company is not bankrupt
Accordance Term/Commitment Letter (to formalize the intention
of being included in Petrobras Corporate Register of Suppliers
NOTE: the letter must be signed by a responsible person included
in one the documents of registration of the company (Articles of
Incorporation/Association, Bylaws, Board of Directors)

Economical Requirements
Annual Report with Audited Financial Statements OR
Balance Sheet and Income Statement
Financial statements of foreign companies must be prepared
under IFRS or US GAAP
Calculation formula and acceptance criteria are public. Theyre
available online.

want to extend the range of supply or cancel my registration
for any item?
Just send us a message after you log in to www.petronect.com.br
telling us what changes youd like.

is no longer working for the company and I dont have
access?
Send us a message to atendi.fornecedores@petrobras.com.br or
suppliers.registry@petrobras.com.br and well reset your log in
data after we make sure your name is in the legal documents of
the company.

Frequent questions
Im a service provider recently estabilished in Brazil. Can I
use the expertise of my German company for being
registered with Petrobras?
Yes. In this case, you must provide a Transfer of Technology
Agreement duly registered at INPI (National Property Institute
www.inpi.gov.br)

How long does it take to be approved?
In most cases we evaluate within 30 days after you finish filling in
the questionnaires and click on close questionnaire.

Frequent questions
Do I need the services of a consultant to be registered with
Petrobras?
No. The website has an English version and instructions are
provided on each screen. Make sure you read the instructions
carefully.
