Question 1: Dialogue
A: Nice weekend?
B: Yeah! I had an amazing weekend! I took a short trip to a town on the coast.
A: Oh yeah? Where?
B: Ah! I cant remember the name now, but it was really great! The weather was good and we
found this really nice little B&B. Er and the owner was really fantastic, she was this little old lady, she
made us feel really at home.
A: Did you book in advance?
B: No, we just turned up on the Friday night and walked around for a bit, and then we found it.
A: That was lucky. What else did you do?
B: On the seafront there was this little fairground with a ghost train, and I knew my girlfriend
was frightened of the dark so I wanted to go on it. But, actually I had to pretend not to be frightened
because it really was scary! After that we walked around the town centre for a while and had lunch in a
little caf, and then later on, we went to this trendy little bar. The whole weekend was great. Ill find
out the name of the town if youre interested, you should definitely go! Anyway, what did you do?
A: Nothing exciting, I just stayed in and had a meal with some friends.
B: Oh... that is a bit boring, isnt it?
