Gods Warnings

1. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead
also. James 2:26.
2. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset
us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto
Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand
of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.
3. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things
which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of
God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14.
4. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected
knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou
hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6.
5. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that
shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not
be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have
therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the
household of faith. Galatians 6:7-10.
6. Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth
good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 3 John 11.
7. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,
saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways
higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9.
8. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
2 Corinthians 2:11.

10. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a

14. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this
world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us
be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and
into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For
the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have
erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou,
O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith,
love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,
whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many
witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:6-12.
