DROPS BABY 2008/09, PATTERNS ON THE INTERNET!


Finally the new patterns for DROPS Baby are being uploaded! We'll daily upload the patterns as they are being proof
read and translated. The patterns are chosen based mainly on the voting results and all your comments. You will see
that our new baby-collection is big on numbers and features a great variety of designs. You'll find the cutest babies in
everything from basic garments like trousers and jackets to ponchos and dresses. There are also a lot of accessories
such as blankets, hats, socks, mittens and comforters. The colors range from white and light pastels to strong, vibrant
colors, the latter represented mainly by Fabel.

Knitting Tension: 24 sts x 30 rows in wavepattern = 10 x 10 cm
Rib: * K2, P2 *, repeat from *-*.
Wavepattern: See diag M.1. The diagram is shown from the RS.
Hat: Knit round. Cast on 120-136 sts loosely on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with Alpaca and knit Rib until
the piece measures 5-6 cm. Then knit M.1 At the same time on the first round dec. 1 st in smallest size = = 119-136
sts. After M.1 = 35-40 sts left on needle and the piece measures approx. 23-24 cm. Knit all sts tog 2 by 2 and pull a
double thread throgh the remaining sts, pull and sew tight.
SHAWL
Crochet tension: 3 loops in the width x 4 rows in the hight = 10 x 10 cm
Casting off tip: Cast off at the beg. and the end of each row as follows: To cast off at the end of each row do not
crochet in the last loop. To cast off at beg. of row, crochet 3 sl st in the top of the last loop made.
Shawl:
Crochet 155 ch on hook size 9mm with Inka (Incl. 1 ch to turn with).
1st row: Crochet 1 dc in the 2nd ch, crochet 1 dc in each of the the next 3 dc * skip 1 ch , crochet 1 dc in each of the
next 4 ch* repeat from *-* = 124 dc.
2nd row: 1 ch (to turn with), 1 dc in the 1st st * 3 ch, 2 tr in the 1st of the 3 ch crochet, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in the next dc
*, repeat from *-* = 41 loops.
3rd row: - read casting off tips * 3 ch, 2 tr in the 1st of the 3 ch just crochet, 1 dc in the top of the next loop* repeat
from *-* = 39 loops. Repeat the 3rd row at the same time cast off 1 loop each side on every row until 1 loop left at
the bottom of the shawl.
