Why did you engage in this particular activity?

Sa panahon karon daghan na ug nagagamit ug klase-klaseng contraceptives, dili
lang ang mga minyo kung dili hasta pud ang mga batan-on. Nagagamit mi ani tungod
kay mao rani among nakitang pamaagi sa amuang Family Planning.
Today there are lots of people who are using different kinds of contraceptives, not
only the couple but also teenagers who are practicing premarital sex. We actually use it
to avoid the problem. This is the only way to do our family planning with my husband.
What kind of contraceptives did you use and why? How did it change your life?
Why?
Sauna ang ginagamit namu kay condom pero hasul kadugayan karun pills na
amuang gamit kay dili man sya hasul kumpara sa condom, imuha raman ning imnun
nga murag imung tambal sa pang-adlaw adlaw. Para sa akua nausab jud ang amua

Before, we use condom but now we use pills because condom is so hassle to
use compre to pills, you just simply take it as your daily medicine. It change our life with
my husband because it strengthen our relationship as a couple. Before we are avoiding
doing sexual intercourse in order to do our Family Planning and sometimes it became
the start of our quarrel, when we start using it we are free to do it whenever we like to
do it.
What lesson have you learned in engaging this type of activity?
Ang pagplano para sa inyong pamilya kay importante ug akuang nakatunan nga
kung kinahanglan natu maggamit ug contraceptives ayaw mu pagduhaduha ug gamit
kay kani usa ka luwas nga matang para sa inyuhang Family Planning.
Planning for your family is important and I learned also that if you need to use
contraceptives do not hesitate to use it because it is a safe method to do family planning
for your family.
What advise can you give to others with regards to the users of contraceptives?
Ang akung matambag sa ilaha nga para makabatun sila ug maayong kahimtang
sa kinabuhi planuhi sa ang para sa ikamaayo sa inyuhang pamilya.
All I can say to them is in order to have a better life you should plan first what is
good for your family.
Would you still continue to use contraceptives? Why or why not?

Oo mugamit paku, kay mao rani amuang nakitang tamang pamaagi para sa
amuang pamilya para makabatun ug maayong kinabuhi para sa amuang kaugmaun
Yes, because it is the best thing that we need to do for our family to have a better
life in the future.

Contraceptive is bad for the health of the person and it is an immoral, but when I
did my research and start gathering the information, it change my perception about
contraceptives. I realized that I am so bias about the issue of the contraceptives. I am
only focusing the negative aspect of it and I dont even tried to see the positive. When I
start interviewing to my respondents and get their sides, I realized that contraceptives
has also a good effect not only to our society but also to our family. Because of this
research I realized that when I get married someday, the respect of each other as a
husband and wife or as a couple is important. If we need to use a contraceptive then we
should talk about it first before we decide. If it is good for our family as part of our family
planning then we will use it. I also realized that planning for your family is very important
in order to have a better life in the future. Someday when I already have a family I like to
give them a better life and most specially to educate my children and provide what they
need.
