General Objectives: After 7 days of practicum at Perpetual Succour Hospital, I will be able to:
1. Familiarize and keep in mind the mission, vision, policies and procedures as well as to the structural
organization of the institution.
2. Acquaint myself with the hospital protocol in the Medical Surgical Unit, Hema-Onco Unit and Emergency
Department of Perpetual Succour Hospital.
3. Establish rapport and good working relationship to all members of the health care team in the different
departments we are assigned to in the institution.
4. Demonstrate and augment the appropriate knowledge, enhance skills and manifest desirable attitude in the
delivery of care to our clients and in working together with the health team members in implementing the
duties and responsibilities as a graduate school student.
5. Utilize and relate the nursing theories applicable in the care of our clients and their health conditions.
6. Appreciate the importance of giving quality holistic care for the clients in applying and integrating basic
nursing concepts during the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
7. Render safe and effective nursing care to the best of my ability.
8. Treat every patient with respect and give utmost confidentiality of acquired cases and pertinent files.
9. Obtain important and relevant data that are useful in the fulfillment of my requirements in Advance Adult
Nursing such as case study, survey, disease-related concepts and nursing management.
10.Summarize and evaluate the learning gained from the clinical experience.
