Flow Meters
Traditional paper-chart-and-pen styles of flow
measurement have often been hit-and-miss,
with the gas delivered during intermittent
operations often measured incorrectly, leading to
discrepancies in gas volumes between sellers and
buyers. Choking and throttling devices
more accurately handle gas surges, but may
inhibit maximum gas flow to production
facilities or pipelines.
Taking into consideration all of the issues
associated with accurate flow measurement,
Ferguson Beauregard has designed a complete
line of Electronic Flow Meters (EFMs), and
associated software, with the intent of making
gas-flow measurement equitable for both the gas
buyer and seller.
EFM3000
Measures flow at the wellhead,
pipeline or gathering system.
This meter is designed to operate
in the most demanding conditions
while providing the accuracy
and functionality that producers
and pipeline operators require
while providing the accuracy and
functionality producers and
pipeline operators require for
most gas measurement
applications. This unit carries
agency certification for installation
in Class 1, Division 2, Group D
environments. Communications
options include spread spectrum
and licensed radio systems analog
and digital cellular (CDPD) and
satellite modems.
Plunger-Lift Control
EFM3000XP
Featuring all of the design
highlights that make the
EFM3000 the best in its class,
the EFM3000xp adds a
machined aluminum enclosure
that is certified for Class 1,
Division 1, Group C&D
hazardous environments.

EFMaintainer
Judged by industry users to be the most user-friendly configurator
available, the EFMaintainer PC software is quick and easy to install
and provides technicians and operations personnel with an intuitive
user interface for setup and configuration. The EFMaintainer
also supports local and remote communications for retrieval of
measurement data, reports, alarms, logs and other audit records.
This information can be exported to local reports.

iNodes EFM
A multi-variable EFM built specifically for gas wells, the iNodes
EFM is a replacement for chart recorders with the added benefit
of unattended data collection and storage. iNodes EFMs attain
their compact size and modest power requirements from a
unique focus on right-time (not real time) data, which is
especially important to operators who do not have SCADA
systems and require data as infrequently as once or twice a day.
iNodes WDS
The Wireless Data Switch (WDS) is a self-contained datacollection and control unit for oil and gas field applications. The
WDS enables collection, storage and transmission of data from
third-party field sensors. It can be used to monitor flow data
from a turbine flow meter using an inductive pickup (certified for
hazardous locations), legacy sensor monitoring via 4-20 mA
interface, and unattended control of well-site equipment, via
solid-state dry-contact output. It can store up to 30 days of data
at one-minute intervals.
