DIET: direct marketing
I. Rationale and Description
Love stories linked to sex, pleasure and eroticism inhabited literature and novels and stories and
form a territory from which to map which highlights points and enclaves: the secret, hidden,
transgressive, bodies, practices that developed innumerable theoretical approaches and criticisms
that this program intends to address and the configurations of the intimate, private and public are
in a moment of acute redefinitions when visiblidad and importance of the bodies seems to have
acquired a dimension immeasurable, why flourished new theoretical and aesthetic and literary
configurations that are intensified when, in addition, are issues that seem touched by the edge of
violence formulations.
If modernity organized the widest range of techniques to model subjectivities and bodies and
determined the boundary where began the monstrous, in the present when man as protean figure
shows open to the future, we are seeing new ways of thinking and understanding these bodies

and subjectivities. In contemporary times, the formatting of the bodies and subjectivities has a
number of kits (set of things as they are complementary in their use or function) to produce
standardized profiles and technoscience takes under its orbit Control Future of Man, opening the
space of the so-called "post-human".
Against this backdrop became important biopolitics concept that refers to the relationship
between politics and life, control of society over individuals not only takes place through
consciousness or ideology, but also in the body and the body. For capitalist society is what biopolitical what matters above all, the biological, the somatic, the corporeal. The body is a
biopolitical entity, medicine is a biopolitical strategy; tensions between biopolitics as set
biopowers governing political economy of life and a place of emergence of a counter, production
of subjectivity as desubjugation time since affections, desires and sexuality are found in life itself
as power. Conceptions of love, pleasure, what can or should be said and represented perhaps
reached its highest point in pornography that not only focuses on a construction site crystallized
bodies in a recognizable imagery, but on the contrary It is an integral part of the capitalist libido
for the production eroticized again desirable elements of the system.
Finally, we propose to relate literature to visual arts taking into account plurality, the various
artistic practices in their disparity because their identity is given by the set of practices in their
differences. The arts are born of a close relationship and exclude each other and support each
other, heterogeneity that never becomes absolute which suggests the art either above or below
the range but between all the arts.

Note: It is recommended that students who wish to pursue this matter have approved "theory
and literary analysis."
