Have signed more than 15 wage settlements across career and have handled
various industrial unrest situations like, strike, lockouts & closure. In the
current organization, in the recent past, by on time execution of the
strategies, achieved remarkable improvement in productivity and discipline
by signing a TPM way of working wage settlement & yet another one with
unique annual increment concept.

Successfully closed manufacturing facilities at Aurangabad and Jigani near


Bangalore.
Handled month long labor unrest and settled in favor of organization at
West Bengal in the current organization.
Wide exposure in handling labour cases with various authorities like
Labour Court, Tribunals, High Court etc in consultation with attorneys.
Brought out various developmental initiatives to ensure smooth and
amicable industrial relations scenario, productivity improvement, and
better discipline.
Put in place a Flexi Lab our Management system to ensure better
retention through regular training programs, Welfare activities etc.
Have established and maintained liaison with Factory Inspectorate, Labour
dept. officials and with external trade union leaders apart from wide
networking with professional forums.
Learning & Development
Have handled Training & Development initiatives for bringing out specific
results Improvement in Productivity, Discipline Management, ensuring
multi skilled workforce and ISO / OHSAS activities.
Ensured appropriate systems are in place for need Identification process,
execution methodologies and evaluation procedures
Constant reviewing of E & T pillar in TPM across plants.

Worked on Employee Engagement based on CLCs model for EngagementContinuously surveyed employee perceptions towards Job, Team, Manager
and Organization and worked on action plans to improve scores.
Revamped the suggestion scheme and small group activities for active
involvement in (CUFEST) and external competitions.
Team member of the Engagement Study project and responsible for
improvement in Engagement Scores in the units.
Introduced Family Connect a strategic quarterly activity to build
belongingness with the organization.
Performance Management

Part of the Calibration Team for Performance Appraisals and Annual


Compensation Revisions of the SBU which has 400 Management staff.
Panel member for HiPo Identification which is based on the Judgment,
Drive, Influence model. Individual Development Plans were created for
HiPos.
Co-created a HR Manual for a Green field project.
Introduced an Hi-Po identification system as a part of Performance
Appraisal process for elevating unionized workmen
Corporate Sustainability
Started a Center for Skill Development which looks at developing medium
skilled workforce by providing learning opportunity for the deprived from
rural background. This model, after its successful implementation and
sustenance for more than three learning cycles, now getting replicated
across the Country. This program was honored by World HRD Congress as
Best Program for the Cause of Learning in 2013.
Adopted villages and Schools in Hosur and Chennai for structured and
need-based community development drives.
Implementation of an online Compliance Management System for
ensuring and monitoring compliances across Units, Subsidiaries and Joint
Venutres.
