Conclusions: The 45 degree angle had the brightest sound, with the zero degree and 75 degree angles
coming second for brightest sound. The 45 degree angle averaged at around 1250 Hz for the spectral
centroid, while the zero and 75 degrees averaged at 1000 Hz. Taking the snares off resulted in a less
bright sound on the whole. The 22.5 degree angle had the least bright sound. The 45 degree also had
the highest roll off point, averaging 8.2 kHz. Below that, 75 degrees and 90 degrees had the highest roll
off points. 22.5 had the lowest roll off point. In volume changes, there were time where the spectral
centroid would drop on the mp hits, while it would remain about the same for the p and f hits, but at
other times it would remain consistent between all three dynamics. The roll would generally increase
the louder hits got, as there was more energy behind those hits. The snares off hits had lower spectral
centroids and roll off points consistently than the ones with the snares on. The location of peaks and
valleys overall was very consistent, but different angles would have different peaks and valleys, with
the angles emphasizing certain areas of the wave form more than others, and some individual hits did
not have certain valleys or peaks at all. Other times, while the peaks and valleys stayed consistent, the
amount by which parts of the frequency spectrum were amplified or attenuated changed from hit to hit.
