THE TRAINING PROGRAM
This memorandum presents a plan of training the student who is enrolled in the practicum
subject as a prerequisite for the completion of the course Information Technology
of International Electronics and Technical Institute College of Alabang in order the maximum learning
job proficiency may be achieved by the student trainee. A list of work experience under each unit of
the course study will be furnished as a guide to the type of work experience expected to be learned
from the on-the-job training in the training station.
STUDENT TRAINEES RESPONSIBILITIES
The trainee agrees to work and study diligently both when receiving actual work experience
and when attending school. He/She agrees to take advantage of every opportunity to improve his/her
skills, knowledge and personality in order to qualify in his/her chosen occupation. It is understood that
the trainee will observe the same regulations that apply to other employees.
STUDENT SUPERVISORS DUTY
The employer agrees to assist the Institute of Technology in giving the student well rounded
training by assigning the student several phases work at the station during the training period.
Training sponsors usually supervisors, department heads, or expert workers, may be appointed to
direct the students job training in each of the work assigned. At the end of training period, the
employer will complete the Job Proficiency Rating Sheet, which gives and evaluation of the job
performance and personality of the trainee.
COORDINATORS RESPONSIBILITIES
The coordinator will assist the employer in carrying out the training of the student. He/She will
conduct the classroom instruction and will correlate the instruction with the on-the-job experience
received by the student. The coordinator shall confer with the employer and visit the trainee at work in
order to discover and to correct the weaknesses of the student trainee.
TRAINING PERIOD
The training period covering __________________ to _____________________ of the
school year _________ will start on the date the memorandum is approved and signed by the
employer or his/her representative. The student will report to the company from _____________ to
_____________. The training agreement may be terminated for a just cause and all interested parties
should be notified about the termination.
PARENTS/GUARDIAN CONSENT
The parent or the guardian of the student has been informed about the program and
permission has been secured for the student to received classroom instruction and work experience in
actual workplace.
