Khan (Officer, IT), of Jamuna Bank Limited, Uttara Branch, whose valuable support helped
me to prepare this report in a constructive way.
I am also grateful to all of the officers and employee of Jamuna Bank Limited who extended
their wholehearted cooperation to me despite their huge workload during this internship. At last I
must mention the Wonderful working environment of this bank that enabled me to gather
practical knowledge about the Banking.
However, I tried very hard and worked very sincerely on this report to make an informative one.
At last my sincere apology goes to the readers for my conceptual and printing mistakes, if there

Executive Summary
A few years back also, Banks are nothing but a medium whose only task is to collect money
from people who have excess of it and give it into those people who need it. But very recently
banks have diversified their operations into various sectors. Even, they have notification able
contribution in maintaining the global relation among various countries of the world. The JBL is
one of the newest Bank of Bangladesh.
Jamuna Bank Limited (JBL) is a Banking Company registered under the Companies Act, 1994
with its Head Office at Chini Shilpa Bhaban, 3, Dilkusha C/A, Dhaka-1000. The Bank started its
operation from 3rd June 2001. Jamuna Bank Limited is one of the leading private commercial
Banks having a spread network 97 branches. This report is prepared on the basis of three month
practical experience at JBL (Uttara Branch). JBL (Uttara Branch) started its operation on 01
December, 2008, located at theSingapore Plaza, Sector 3, Uttara Dhaka 1230. This program
helped me to improve my theoretical knowledge into the practical realistic environment.
This report has been segmented into different five chapters and the chapter has divided into 3
parts-(i) Prefatory part, (ii) Body Part, (iii)Supplementary part.Under the Body part there are sub
contain part, Introduction, overview on Jamuna port Bank Limited, Employee job satisfaction on
Jamuna bank limited, Job analysis, project activities, and Conclusion.
In Introduction part I have focused on the concept about the study, Objective of the report and
limitations of the report also have been discussed. The main objective of the study is to provide a
brief picture on the Employee job Satisfaction. The limitations have been time limit,
confidentiality, knowledge and experience etc.
In the second chapter I discussed a brief history of Jamuna Bank of Bangladesh Limited. Here
represents an overview on Jamuna Bank of Bangladesh Limited. This chapter also includes
mission, Strategies, Management structure, Goal and Objective, Financial products & services,
Branch information, Departments, Financial performance analysis with graphical presentation and
some basic information about their general banking activities. The bank provides a broad range of
financial services to its customers and corporate clients. The Board of Directors consists of
eminent personalities from the realm of commerce and industries of the country.

Chapter three have discussed about Employee job satisfaction. This part contains basically the
theories of job satisfaction, Importance of Job Satisfaction, contain of Job satisfaction.
Chapter four is discussed about Actual task in Jamuna Bank Limited.
Chapter five contains project activities. In this part I was making questioner for employee of
Jamuna bank. Then Question base I have done hypothesis development.
At the end of my study, I have mentioned the finding according to the research part. Here I have
mentioned some recommendations for the Jamuna Bank Ltd. what activities they can follow. I
hope they will be benefited from those recommendations and then overall conclusion is given
according to my point of view.
