MARCH 2015
INTRODUCTION
This training guided me on how to deal with my chosen career. Each day as
I undergo training, I always think for what I will gain from this. As time goes by, I
realize that this training will be my teacher for some lessons that I did not learned
from my school as what the saying says that experience is the best teacher.
It is not enough to say that you are a good employee/trainee. For me, it will
be measured through the finished tasks. The efforts and commitments to work are
one of the most important things to prove your performance as an
employee/trainee. I can say that I lend good performances while I am at my
training.
This training was a great challenge for us. It is not just only an activity to
do outside our institution. An intimate self confidence and discipline is needed to
cope up with other employees and to make assigned tasks to be done.
It is good to lend the best from what you have learned but it is not enough
to only apply it, instead you must share your knowledge with other employees and
must learn from them in return.
During my time of my training, I have learned more about the company that
allowed me to do my training. I discovered that the company has resources and
employees that fit to what the companys objectives, missions, visions and overall
operations.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I would like to thank all people involved on this on-the-job training who are
always been there for me, giving me strength, inspirations and self-confidence in
doing this 300 hours of training.
Second, to my friends for their unstinted support for whatever I have been
doing and for being there whenever I need them. For giving me encouragements
and motivations to pursue to my goals not only in this training but also in my
responsibilities as a student.
10
Lastly, to the Almighty Father who made everything possible in this world.
I do thank you lord for giving me this knowledge and for providing everything for
the realization of my training.
To God be the glory!

ORIENTATION
15
I started my training on the 24th day of November, 2014. At the first day of
my training, I spent lot of time in familiarizing the activities and operations inside
and outside the office. Office hours start at 8:00 in the morning and ends at 5:00 in
the afternoon. Standard time rate falls on 8 hours per day. I am already advised
about some overtime due to jobs and meetings that are urgently needed.
16
During the first day of my training, I also introduced by Mr. Francis Tamor
to the staff of the company. She told them that I am going to have training in their
company and if there are some paper works and computer works that they need to
do, just go to the Budget office and leave the instructions to me.
I was also introduced to different forms that are commonly used in the operations
of company. Mr. Francis(Assistant of Mrs.Lani) showed me the files where those
forms should be found.

EVALUATION
18
19
Results are concerned with the tangible impact of the training programme on
individuals, their job environment, or the organization as a whole.
On the basis of the time dimension, evaluation may be classified as (1) formative
evaluation and (2) summative evaluation. Formative evaluation involves the
collection of relevant and useful data while the training programme is being
conducted. This information can identify the drawbacks and unintended outcomes
and is helpful in revising the plan and structure of training programme to suit the
needs of the situation. Summative evaluation is done at the end of the programme
and makes an overall assessment of its effectiveness in relation to achieving the
objectives and goals.

IMPORTANCE
OF
OJT
27
On the job Training are part of a college curriculum that aims to train and orient students
about the work and their future career. OJT is very important not only to teach students
their chosen career but to show students the reality about working.
On the Job Training is very important and should not be taken for granted, heres why:
1
Aside from the high evaluation grade that you will receive from the employer, the
employer may absorbed or offer you a job after graduation.
The OJT experience that you have can land you a great job. Especially in Media
related jobs, most employers often asked and require an OJT experience from a
media company. For instance, a news writer who is applying in a TV Network has
great advantage if he/she has an OJT experience in a Media company like TV,
Radio or Publishing.
Your superior in the company that you are working for as an OJT may
recommend your skills to the company affiliates or to other company that he/she
knows.
OJT will be your training ground. If you still have no idea on what is meant to be
a worker, OJT will give you at least 10% of career realities.
