contract, the company agrees to perform routine service on this copier. To obtain
information about the time it takes to perform routine service, Zodac-copiers have collected

chairperson, vice chairperson, and secretary. After electing the 3 officers, they elect
a 3-person committee to oversee buildings and grounds. Each member is only
allowed to be one of the 3 officers or one of the 3-person committee.

When the board elects the 3 officers (chairperson, vice chairperson, and
secretary), how many different groups of candidates are possible?
