Post Crucifixion Part 1

Matthew, Chapter 27, Verses 57 60

57:

Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named
Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus.

58:

This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate
commanded the body to be given to him.

59:

When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth.

60:

And laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a
large stone against the door of the tomb and departed.

61:

And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the
tomb.

In some Gospels it says that Pilate was astonished at the fact that Jesus Christ had died in such a
short period of time while he was only hung for a few hours

Regarding Verse 60 of the above reference they challenge that, how did Jesus get out of the
door. If Joseph alone had put a rock in front of the door, how did Jesus escape from that tomb?
We say that if one person can move that rock in front of the tomb, then one person can also
remove it. Prophets are granted extra-ordinary strength, the same case is with Jesus, he was
given the ability to move the rock also

Our interpretation of the following verses is that Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea have been
referred to as angels here. In those conditions of earthquake and lightning, this was possible.
Also compare this to the statements of Mark and John.

Matthew, Chapter 28, Verses 2 -3, and 5 7:

2:

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord
descended from heaven, and came and sat on it.

3:

His countenance was like lightning and his clothing as white as snow.

5:

But the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know
that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

6:

He is not here; for He has risen.

Page 1 of 5

7:

And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed
He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told
you.

They say that an angel came and opened the door of the tomb, but if you examine the situation,
with the earthquake going on and it is stormy and dark all around, and lightning is flashing, and
if a person wears white clothes, he is very visible at that time, some can even say that they saw
an angel

Then in Mark, Chapter 16, Verse 1, it states;

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary (the mother) of James, and Salome
bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.

Here we see that the ointment was applied. They say that it was the custom of Jews to apply an
ointment and put a cloth around the body, and then bury the body. We say that if that is so then
what did the woman bring on Sunday

Two angels are mentioned in John in the following manner, in John, Chapter 20, Verses 11 - 12,
it states;

11:

But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped
down and (looked) into the tomb.

12:

And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the
feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

When it talks of the angels, it refers to Joseph Arimathea and Nicodemus. They came at
different times, sometimes when the women came, there was only one person and sometimes
there were two. They were not angels instead as I mentioned before they were the disciples of
Jesus

In John, we find that Jesus has referred to going to Galilee as going to his Lord. Now what
does this show? This shows that when Jesus says at different places that Im going towards my
Lord, he actually means that Im going where my Lord has ordered me to go, meaning his
migration.

Then in John, Chapter 20, Verse 17, it states;

Page 2 of 5

Jesus said to her, Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My
brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and
your God.

The message given here is mentioned in different words in different Gospels

Where was the migration of Jesus? It was towards Galilee. If Jesus had stayed in Jerusalem
there would have been a problem and he would again be caught, so he had to migrate. Galilee is
a mountainous area and it was easier to hide. This is where his migration started from which has
been referred to as disappearing into the heavens in the Holy Bible.

One statement as in Matthew, Chapter 28, Verse 7, it states that;

And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going
before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.

We look at this above reference and the other statement mentioned in John, Chapter 20, Verse
17, in one it states that going to Galilee, while the other one states that, going to father,
this is a contradiction found in the Holy Bible

John, Chapter 21 and Matthew, Chapter 28

Matthew has written every little thing of Jesus and he does not mention anything about Jesus
ascension, what is the reason for him not writing about this? By him not mentioning it, it proves
that Jesus ascension was a falsely ascribed thing to him, which in actuality did not happen

Luke never saw Jesus nor did Mark. They mention stories of Jesus going to heavens. Matthew
and John who were his closest people, if these two did not mention anything about Jesus
ascension then everything else is all mere tales

Post Crucifixion Part II

In Luke, Chapter 24, Verses 50 - 51, it states;

50:

And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and
blessed them.

51:

Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them
and carried up into heaven.

Page 3 of 5

Jesus was giving guidance that you stay in the city and led the people to Bethany which was
about a mile from the city and in Acts, Chapter 1, Verse 3, it mentions;

To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being
seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

If there was an interval between the two times as they say, then the word and should not
have been used. Quick English grammar lesson by that and is used for joining
two incidents

I think what hes trying to prove here is that even though Saint Luke wrote both Acts and Luke,
but there are contradictions in them as far as his ascension is concerned. In Luke, he has given
this impression that he was ascended right after and in Acts, hes writing that his ascension took
place after forty days.

In Mark, Chapter 16, Verse 19, it states;

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at
the right hand of God.

This just further clarifies that it happened on the same day. This above passage supports Lukes
statement that all those things transpired on the same day in Jerusalem

One should note that the most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not
have Mark, Chapter 16, Verses 9 20; meaning they were added after a century and if they
were added after a century then certainly Mark could not have written it. Proving these verses
were added later on, they are not part of the original text.

False References towards Jesus Christ

In Matthew, Chapter 27, Verse 40 it comes:

and saying, You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are
the Son of God, come down from the cross.

Page 4 of 5

This reference is presented by them that Jesus would re-instate the temple. They
say that he will be on the cross for 3 days and then come off it. They present this
quotation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ

You would refute this point by that if such a thing happened his companions would
have mentioned it directly but this statement is made by the people laughing at
him, not by Jesus Christ or his companions. It shows that this is falsely made up. We
say this is authentic because it was a statement of the enemy, not of his disciples

Then in Matthew, Chapter 27, Verse 63 it has been stated:

Saying, sir we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, After three days I
will rise.

This was an enemy who did not believe in Jesus who was saying this, it was not the
saying of any disciple either
