I.

Introduction (Observation)

In today's world, printing services are becoming very popular modes of communications in
the form of documentation. Printing has become a lot more accessible to the general public
particularly to those students near at universities. Students on the quest of getting good quality
standard prints find it convenient to opt for the near establishment which offers excellent ended
result. Customer or client requirement should also be attended for providing more efficient
printing services. The main priority should be the maintenance of the printing machine since that
is their service, manpower, they should study the flow of their customers and should provide
enough number of employees to meet their demands for them to be able to maintain their
existing customers and be able to expand their printing business, attractive prices, wide range of
capabilities, more options for printing and friendly customer services are some of the
characteristics that the printing business or establishment should have.

Statement of the Problem (Problem Definition)

As we observed the printing services offered by Pau and Kate Computer Shop, we noticed
that the establishment has a small space to facilitate students inside the shop and they have few
printers which cannot accommodate the needs of the customers who avail their printing services.
In addition, they lack of personnel to cater their customers. This particular type of problems has a
substantial impact to the satisfaction of RTU students and their customer and the demand of their
printing services throughout their business.
III.

Purpose of the Study

The purpose of this study is to determine the satisfaction of RTU students regarding the
printing services offered by Pau and Kate Computer Shop. This study will enable the business
establishment to identify what are the services they need to develop in their business offer and to
ease any occurring dilemma concerning to their printing services. The unit of analysis used is in
the form of questionnaire survey and observational studies which help us to gather specific data
and information regarding the satisfaction of RTU students corresponding to printing services.

IV.

Hypotheses
As part of this study, investigation included one research hypothesis:

1. The quality services they are offering to the students may increase the demand of their
printing services.
2. To meet the satisfaction of the customers especially the students who are commonly uses
or avail their offered services. They should add more printers in order for them to
accommodate or cater the demands of the students.

Theoretical Framework
The variable identify in this research proposal is the relative satisfaction of students
towards the services offered by KATE and PAU printing services.

Research Design
The type of research that will be used in this study is qualitative research and
quantitative research. Qualitative researchers aim to gather an in-depth understanding
of satisfaction of the students towards the chosen establishment and the reasons why
they are availing the offered printing services.
The research design will be used in this proposal was exploratory research design in
the form of open ended questionnaires; this was given to the RTU Students
(respondents) which was regularly avail the services offered by KATE and PAU
printing services. These respondents will compose of fifty (50) RTU students which
often use their services.
