Vilu Reef Beach & Spa Resort is sprawled across the entire expanse of Meedhuffushi
Island in South Nilandhe Atoll, 145km south of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. The
island is reached by a 35 minute picturesque journey by seaplane.
We are currently looking for passionate, enthusiastic, energetic and qualified young
individuals to fill the following positions.
JOB VACANCIES
Housekeeping Supervisor
General Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the
overall operation of the Housekeeping section according to Resort regulations.
Reporting line: Reports to Executive Housekeeper
Duties

and Responsibilities:
Must be able to understand and communicate oral/written instructions
Makes recommendations to the Executive Housekeeper.
Ability to maintain documents by record keeping
Computer literate
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, supervise, inspect and evaluate work of
Subordinates
- Working knowledge of Housekeeping operations
- Good knowledge of Health & Sanitation guidelines for universal precautions and infection
control
- Must possess the ability to maintain a productive working relationship with other
departments and coordinate services to assure that services can be performed without
interruption in the resort operations
- Must be fit and in good health
- Needs experience in a professional Housekeeping Supervisory role for a minimum of 2
years
- Performs other duties as assigned by the management.

E-Commerce Coordinator
Requirements:
- Minimum two years work experience in the same field
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- Excellent telephone and email etiquette
- To handle all direct guest bookings emails on daily basis.
- Making all online bookings into OPMS.
- Daily online rate parity audit.
- Closing and opening rates/inventory on Ihotelier and other TPI and Online channels.
- Payment collection and its co-ordination with Finance team
- To deal with OTA partners / Travel Click on support level
- First level online bookings correspondence check and handover to CRO-Asst: Reservations
Manager for final file check
- Supervise the Reservations department at resort level
- Manage seaplane transfers for guests / staff

Demi Chef De Partie

Requirements:
-

Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar position

Ability to read, listen, comprehend and communicate effectively in English both verbally
and in writing
Self-motivated, innovative with a high drive for results
Excellent team player
Ability to work under pressure

Commis I / II
Requirements:
-

Minimum 2 year experience in a similar position

Candidate with kitchen diploma/ hospitality studies an advantage
Experience in hospitality industry an advantage
Good operational, communication skills and customer relations skills are a must
Highly developed interpersonal / communication skills
Flexible working hours, patient, peoples person and very service oriented
Ability to read, write and converse in English
