Growth Group Sign Ups in the Connector! Wednesday
Night Live starts this week on Sept. 9! Each Wednesday well gather
for food and fellowship from 5-6 p.m., followed by teaching from
one of the pastors based on a concept from the current worship
series. Following the teaching, Growth Groups will meet to discuss
the teaching, book, and/or sermon. Sign up on the bulletin tear-off,
online at www.moumc.org, or at the Wednesday Night Live/Growth
Group table in the Connector. Pastor Charity is available to answer
questions and assist with sign-ups.
Book Sale in the Connector - Stop by to pick up a copy of Real
Followers or find another great read! We have books recommended
by our pastors and others about various church life topics.

Sept. 12-13: UMW Mum Sale to Benefit Missions - The mums
are arriving this week and will be on sale Saturday, Sept. 12: 9 a.m.noon and Sunday, Sept. 13: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Sept. 13: Youth 6th Grader Welcome 6-7:30 p.m. -Parents
and 6th graders: join us for a night completely devoted to
welcoming you into the program! Our youth and leaders will
introduce themselves, and talk about youth events, games that we
like to play and share some of our favorite things about being a part
of the youth program.Parents are always welcome and bring any
questions you might have.
Sept. 13: Youth Volunteer Training next Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
led by Rev. Kim Parker, a 25-year veteran of youth ministry. We
will cover best practices for working with youth, Safe Sanctuary
reminders and how to be the best mentor you can be to our youth.
Please come with any questions you have about working with the
youth program.Sunday School Teachers and Sunday night volunteers
will begin teaching on Sept. 20.
