I refer to complaints received by patients experiencing difficulty in securing parking at Peel Health
Campus, primarily because commuters will often park at the hospital all day once the Mandurah Train
Station car park is full (which is usually full around 7am) and ask:
(a)

are there any plans to introduce a time limit for visitors on parking at the Peel Health
Campus to discourage commuters using this as an all-day car park;

(b)

are there any plans to increase the number of parking bays at the Peel Health Campus;
and

(c)

does the Government have any plans to change Peel Health Campus from free parking
to fee parking, if so please outline?

I refer to Legislative Council Question on Notice 670 in relation to the State Solicitors Office
involvement with The West Australians Freedom of Information application concerning
correspondence between the Premier and his ministerial staff relating to the MAX Light Rail or
Forrestfield-Airport Link, and I ask:

what was the final total billable hours spent on all work provided by State Solicitors
Office in this matter;
were there any additionally incurred costs outside the $1,887 fee for Supreme Court
Filing; and

I understand the business case for the establishment of an adult eating disorder inpatient service was in
its final stages of development in May last year, and ask:

what was the Governments response to the business case;
(b)

will you provide me with a copy of the business case;

has the budget been approved to set up this service, if so what is the budget allocation;

(d)

what is the current average waiting time for patients to access outpatient services for
Eating disorders at the Centre for Clinical Interventions;

(e)

how many people are currently on the waiting list for outpatient services for eating
disorders at the Centre for Clinical Interventions; and

(f)

how many West Australians (both children and adults) with a diagnosed eating
disorder died either directly from the eating disorder, or indirectly from complication
associated with the eating disorder in 2014?

I refer to the medical Speciality College Accreditation process at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and
note that previously both ophthalmology and radiotherapy failed to gain accreditation, and ask have
both of these areas now gained accreditation status, and if so, when was it granted?

what time period are you referring to;

when you refer to crashes, what does this include, and does it include accidents
involving pedestrians;

(c)

please provide the names of intersections in terms of number of crashes from number
one to number 1000th;
over the same period as stated in answer to 1 above, what are the crash statistics for
the intersections of (a) Denny Avenue and Streich Avenue, and (b) Denny Avenue
and Railway Avenue;

(d)

(e)

please provide details of all types of crashes and accidents, including those involving
pedestrians that have occurred in the period as stated in answer to 1 above for the
intersections of (a) Denny Avenue and Streich Avenue, and (b) Denny Avenue and

I refer to the current water supply pipe from the Serpentine Pipehead Dam to the Jarrahdale township

how many leaks have been identified in the pipe in each of the last 5 financial years;

how many patches are there currently on the pipe;

how many leaks have been repaired using the black tape that is visible on the pipe and
what is the longevity of these repairs;

how long is it expected to be before the pipe will be replaced;

what is the anticipated cost of this replacement in todays dollars;

how much water has been lost from the pipe in each of the last 5 financial years;

how much does it cost each year to maintain the pipe;

has the water in that pipe ever failed to meet the required standard at any time
since 2002;

how old are the water tanks that supply the Jarrahdale township; and
when are the water tanks that supply the Jarrahdale township due to be replaced?
