Wings was the first company in India, manufacturing Ignition Coils,

having received International Quality Certification of ISO 9002 from
KPMG PEAT MARWICK LLP, USA on February 28, 1996. The
company was certified for QS 9000 from KPMG PEAT MARWICK LLP,
USA on November 13, 2001. The company got certified for ISO/TS
16949 in June 2005 through AQSR. Currently, the company stands
certified for ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2008, both certifications
through AIB-VINCOTTE International nv/sa.

Addon Engineering Pvt Ltd, a company over which Wings has
Controlling Rights, also functions.
Additionally, a manufacturing shed has been constructed over land of
2.46 Acres (11,700 sq.yards). This additional space has over 60,000
sq.ft of covered area and should become operational in around 60 days

Wings has Excellent Infrastructure, having been procured from USA,

Japan, Taiwan, China, Germany, Italy, Singapore etc.
Research & Development and Tool Room Departments have Excellent
Infrastructure and the companys demands are met reasonably. Tooling
is also procured from outside the country, should the situation demand.
Winding Department has forty three Winding Machines, procured from
USA, Italy, Taiwan, Germany, Japan and Singapore.
Wings has thirty two Number Power Presses. A number of Power
Presses are High Speed. In one Power Press, the component moves to
eight locations for final shape. The Power Presses get highly utilized in
manufacture of Auto Stacked Inter Locked Lamination Core Units which
Wings supplies to International reputed customers.
Wings has three number Potting Plants. One Potting Plant has Twelve
Nozzles (it stands procured and is to be installed), Six Nozzles and Two
Nozzles. All the three Plants are from German companies, one of which
is also located in China.
Sufficient number of PLC Controlled Baking Ovens including Two
Conveyorised Ovens are being used for baking of Potted Ignition Coils,
which cross over 600,000 per month of High Tension Ignition Coils.
Wings is single largest manufacturer of Ignition Coils in India.
Wings has Fourteen Injection Molding Machines. There are Vertical and
Horizontal Molding Machines. Most of the Molding Machines have
foreign country designs.
Wings has two numbers Vacuum Impregnation Plants also.
In the Tool Room, Wings has EDM Spark Erosion Machine with DRO
four numbers and EDM Wire Cut Machine one number. Vertical Milling
Machine with DRO two numbers, Precision Surface Grinders three
numbers, High Precision Surface Grinder one number, Harness Testing
Machine one number, Precision Lathe Machine and other Lathe
Machines four numbers, Bench Grinder one number, Surface Grinder
one number, Drilling Machine (geared) one number, Jig Grinding
Machine one number etc. There are Engineering and Tool Design
Equipment also available.

Wings would prefer to have Joint Venture for Electronic Products with
minimum 51% Share in the Joint Venture. Currently, Wings is
manufacturing only limited number of Electronic Products, being utilized
in major products of Wings.
It is emphatically stated that Wings is capable of adopting new
technologies with full flourish, with background of the founder having
undergone extensive exposure to Electronics and having found solution
to major problems while functioning as an Indian Air Force Officer for
over twenty five years.
Limited funds can be raised by the company from its own resources.
Further, the banks are excellently inclined towards Wings, for any funds
requirements.
Addon Engineering Pvt Ltd is a company over which Wings has
Controlling Rights. Addon is growing fast and is already manufacturing
375,000 Horns per month which are supplied to Internationally reputed
customers.
