OFFICER COMMANDING
1. Copies of Sqn Standing Orders (SSOs) and Sqn Routine Orders (SROs) are to be
displayed in the Staff Admin Office, the SNCOs Office and the Parade Room Noticeboard.
2. Annex A details the Sqns Core Training (CT) Activities for 2010. CT activities have priority
above all other events and every step must taken to ensure that these places are filled. Personnel
found to be avoiding the CT activities but choosing to attend the Voluntary Activities will be
questioned by the OC Sqn.
3. Included within the CT activities are Wing Training Day and the annual Remembrance
Parade in Studley. All personnel are reminded that these activities are classed as Mandatory
Parades. Personnel unable to attend are to explain to the OC Sqn why they are not able to attend.
4. All personnel are to check the eligibility criteria for an activity before putting their name
down. Once the final list has been compiled, personnel are expected to attend. Those that do not
will be questioned by the OC Sqn.
5. Where Staff find themselves unable to meet their allocation, they are to arrange appropriate
cover for the activity.
6. Annex B details the Sqns Voluntary Training (VT) Activities for 2010. VT activities are
secondary to CT activities in all cases.
7. VT activities are often subject to a bidding process and a financial cost. Therefore once the
final list has been compiled, personnel are expected to attend. Those that do not will be
questioned by the OC Sqn.

8. All personnel are to check the eligibility criteria for an activity before putting their name
down and should be aware of the fact that these activities may require additional training before
being eligible to attend.
9. The Sqn Training Programme details the activity and expected dress for a parade night.
Uniformed personnel are expected to attend in that dress. Those that do not will be questioned by
the Sqn WO. Were there may be a justification for a variation in dress, the case is to be put
forward to the Sqn Trg Off and the OC Sqn.
10. Annex C details the Sqn Flight Lists as at 4 Jan 10. Changes to these lists will be
promulgated by future SROs.
11. Annex D details the Sqn project groups and the Staff i/c each group. Projects will run from
Jan to Mar 10 before preparation for Wing Training Day commences.
12. Annex E details the list of instructors responsible for Recruit and Classification training.
Instructors are to liaise with the Sqn Trg Off with regard to their lesson requirements.
13. Cdt P Hindle and Cdt T Smallman are designated as i/c Stores. Cadets requiring items of
uniform or equipment for activities are to approach these Instructor Cadets in the first instance.
Items of Blue uniform will only be exchanged on a like-for-like basis. All other items are to signed
for using an RAF Form 668 (Loan Card) and returned as soon as possible after the activity.
