MT STAR?
Management Trainee STAR (MT STAR) is
an acceleration career program that aim
to develop future leaders of Danone from
the right candidate that share the same
value and culture.

MT STAR will be equipped

with 1 year development journey


as a trainee in their function with
the project presentation quarterly
(3 times in a year)

After 1 year program and graduated,

MT STAR will be assigned in certain position


or project and sfter 2 3 years, MT STAR
are expected to be a Manager

MT STAR INDUCTION

NEW MT INDUCTION WORKSHOP


Prior to starting the quarterly project, classroom induction is held in order to provide MT
necessary knowledge about Danone, CBU, function and basic skill needed to start.

The Mentor for each MTs are the Director in respective


function where the MTs belong to. MTs are able to be in
close contact with Mentor for any suggestion/direction
regarding to their progress. Example: The Mentor of MT
HR will be The Director of HR in each CBU.

BUDDY

COACH

Coach is direct superior of an MT during the 1st year of


MT program. A coach can be assigned for the whole one
year,or change according to the quarterly project
assignment. A coach is typically a level 8 or 9 manager.

According to its name, a buddy is someone who


assigned by coach to help MT get acquainted with the
new team and culture. A buddy can be an MT graduates
from last 1-2 years, or someone in the team who has
similar age with MT and a level 10-9,9 After graduates
from the MT program, MT will choose a level 7 or 8
manager to be his/her mentor. MT selects a mentor
based on his understanding on the MT potential and
development needs, the opportunity and challenge
within current MT assignment, and trust that the mentor
will dedicate himself for mentoring activities.

AND NETWORKING
Networking is powerful to help MT in getting support when working on a project, make
their performance visible, and most of all networking can create strong engagement
between MT and Danone. Mentor, Coach and Buddy are responsible to provide networking
opportunity by identifying event and activity which are suitable for an MT to build his
networking. Some of them are:

Learning events

Training program is not only useful in


building skill and competencies, but also
connect MT with other participants who may
come from various function or CBU.
Examples for learning events are Danone
Campus, CODE DLC workshop, and CBU
learning events such as Aqua Learning
Carnival and Nutricia Academy.

Projects

Projects which involve members from


various function or CBU are also a good
opportunity to build networking and make
the MT performance and potential visible.

Extra task

Task or activity outside an MT main role can


help MT to show his commitment to the
company. Examples are being part of WISE
committee in his function; help HR to liaise
with university for employer branding and
recruitment program.

Employee activity

Sport, music and other social activities by


Danoners will help build stronger
relationship, trust and engagement between
MT, danoners and the Danone.

2013 especially join on SSD Team for Danone
Dairy Indonesia. You can't imagine what a fresh
graduate like me could get in 3 months. I take a
lead on all projects for Secondary Packaging and
deal with suppliers. I travel a lot and never stay in
the same city in a week, meet people from
