Lucky Construction, Inc. (DeSoto, TX) – Sr. Construction Manager, 6-2002 / 12-2003
Retained to manage all field resources, i.e., site superintendents, project budgets and schedules,
maintain sub / supplier list and contacts, attend weekly project meetings and ensure the project
was completed on time and under budget.

LSU Alumni Association (Baton Rouge, LA.) – Construction Manager, 9-2000 / 2-2002
Contracted to build the Lod and Carole Cook Hotel and Conference Center, at the LSU Alumni
Assoc. property on the LSU Campus. This is a 126 all suites hotel paid for by donations from the
Alumni Association. The hotel was completed on time and within the established budget.

Meristar Hotels and Resorts (Irving, TX) – Project Manager, 4-1996 / 3-2000
Hired to manage multimillion dollar construction and renovation projects on high profile hotels
and resorts. Managed the process from conception to turn over to the operating unit. Selected the
A & E firms, designers, contractors, purchasing and delivery companies . Managed multiple
projects in several different states.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (Dallas, TX) – Sr. Project Manager, 1-1994 / 3-1996
Assisted in reviewing acquisition properties to determine construction related cost to either rehab
or change to a different brand. Solicited bids to determine full renovation costs from design,
construction, purchasing, delivery and installation companies and present to the proposed
ownership. Upon approval, prepared all documents and contracts and get the project started.

Hotel Renovation Projects (2004 / 2009), Budgets $1M to $2.5 M

• Managed the rollout of new renovation design on older hotel properties.
• Responsible for the new exterior façade design to be approved by the new ownership.

Managed the new joint venture projects (2002 / 2003), Budgets $500,000 to $900,000
• Coordinated the conversion of numerous Shell gas stations to include newly developed 7-
11 convenience stores.
• Managed the development of 2 Cantina Laredo restaurants in Huntsville Ala, and
Orlando Fl.

Lod and Carole Cook Hotel and Conference Center (2000 / 2002), Budget $14,500,000
• Managed the design and development of the LSU Alumni Assoc. Hotel.
• Coordinated the Alumni member’s donations for construction and reported weekly the
Alumni Board of Regents.
• Participated in the dedication of the hotel with President Geo. H. Bush and the Exxon /
Mobil President Lod Cook.

New hotel construction and major renovations (1996 / 2000), Budgets $1.5M to $13M
• Managed the development and construction of two Marriott Courtyard Hotels.
• Worked with the Disney Imagineers in the renovation and repositioning of a 500 room
hotel as a Disney partner property.
• Managed the renovation and repositioning of numerous high profile hotels.
