Italian PhD Scholarships Version 14 updated on 23-07-2015

Dear all students who are applying for PhD scholarships. Gear up for Italian PhD rainfall. 31st cycle in Italy of
PhD Scholarships in every field
From now I will try to update the offers time by time in file attached. This is the fourteenth version. But keep
checking yourself as well.

Why I say to apply for PhD in Italy?

1) The Italian PhD offers are not normally posted in many International Scholarship Websites. But we find
them and post them. As a result of this thing, last year maximum number of Pakistanis availed PhD
Scholarships in Italy.
2) Scholarships are offered in all fields from social sciences to Engineering etc. But you have to open the links
and find your field
3) You get more chances if apply in many universities. The only bottleneck is application fee. Which you have
to submit. But really if you can submit application fee in many universities. Then you will have good chances

4) IELTS is not required for PhD in many universities. But if you have it, you will have more chances.
5) People with Bachelors and having two years of research experience in their major field after BS can apply
for PhD
*** Important Tip 1: Try to contact professors in universities. It is not mandatory. But as you know for PhD, it
is always good to have contact with professors. Try to have good conversation with them as you will be sure
also then that your application will not be wasted. But I say again it is not mandatory. You can/ should apply
online even without contacting professors
*** Tip 2: Some universities such as Trento, Trieste, Bozen, Palermo, few professors are already hiring. So do
open websites and see who is asking for it
*** Tip 3: Now so many Pakistani students in many Italian universities. So find them and ask them if their lab
is hiring
*** Tip 4: I have posted English links, if you have any issue in using them, then try to translate using google
translator
****** Most Important Tip: Keep on checking selection/interview lists yourself on university websites,
they will not email you for your selection in most of cases. The new universities added in this list are in red
color
