Wind Energy Programme

(Back Drop)
Wind Energy (WE) had been used by
human beings from times immemorial. WE
in its present form has evolved after the
Gulf War (1990 91).
Since then, rapid technological advances
have taken place. Planning for electric
power generation as a clean power source
is now gaining ground on a global basis.
Wind Power is one of the most important
aspects amongst Renewable Energy
Power Generation Strategies.
Both Solar and Wind are therefore
becoming important power sources now.
With the Smart Grid idea coming up very
fast, the planning of distributed power
systems is being considered very essential
for all existing and future power projects
everywhere.
Millions of new jobs are being created all
over the world including a large chunk in
India. Jobs will continue to grow for at
