P.A. SYSTEM
Hell's Kitchen require a high quality fully working P.A. system that is capable of producing 110dB(A) across
the full spectrum of human hearing, cleanly and evenly throughout the venue. PA needs to be in full
working order with a microphone and CD player in place in order to ring out the system.
We prefer JBL Vertec 4889, EAW KF-740 or Skua Sound PA Systems.
Please avoid any equipment from these brands: Behringer, Peavey, Samson, Mackie.
CONSOLE / OUTBOARD ETC
We need 26 channels in total, with 6 aux send ( 4 if there is a monitor console).
Digital is fine but we prefer analogue, especially Midas. Either way each channel must have 4 band
parametric EQs with swept mids. Please avoid any equipment from these brands: Behringer, Mackie,
Yamaha 01V, DM 1000, DM 2000.
We need 1 multi FX and 2 reverbs (Lexicon, TC Electronic, Yamaha).
1 stereo 31 band Graphic EQ inserted on the L&R outputs of the desk accesible at FOH position.
For analogue consoles, we require 2 channels of gate and 6 of compression. No Behringer, Alesis, Samson
please!
A 4U rack with suitable wiring is provided by the band engineer, thank you to provide a location with
a regulated power supply 240V 50Hz.
The desk must be situated in a central position (not on the balcony or at side of stage) so that both
sides of the PA can be heard equally.
MONITORS
We require 3 mixes, each with a 31 band graphic EQ, set out as in the stage plot. All wedges should be biamped.
Please provide a competent monitor engineer .
For small shows I can mix monitors from FOH.
STAGE
We need a minimum performance space: opening 8 meters - 5 meters deep.
We need a case 40x60cm and 60cm high to elevate the guitar amp.
Please no riser for the drum.
The stage should be wired and rung out prior to the band arriving for soundcheck.
STAGE POWER
240 V/ 13A power supply points are to be placed on stage. This circuit must be the same distribution as the
house and monitor sound systems, and totally separate from lighting, video circuits.
LOAD IN
We will need at least half an hour to load in, park and have a drink before soundcheck.
We appreciate half an hour to load-in, half an hour to set up, and an hour to soundcheck . We will require all
technical crew to be available for the duration.
LIGHTS
We do not travel with any lighting equipment or crew, but will require both.
LOAD OUT
After the show it will take us at least an hour to pack down and load out. Any help that you could give us
with loading would be greatly appreciated.
