Sons of Anarchy Brief History

The Sons of Anarchy series that aired on the FX channel ran 7 seasons. It was about a
motor cycle club out of Charming, California and spanned the globe to Belfast, Ireland. It
followed the charter of the Sons of Anarchy and their rival gangs. The founder John Teller was
murdered by Clay Marrow, Tellers number 2 and his then wife Jemma Teller. Before John
Tellers death, he and Jemma had a son named Jackson. This is where the series takes place as
Clay and Jackson try to find their own way in the leadership of the club. The struggle between
the two men brings mayhem to everyone around them. The politicians and police in Charming
are criminals, some are even worse than anyone could imagine. They put peoples lives at risk
for power or personal gain. Many of the frequently revolving law enforcement know the clubs
criminal involvement and either turn a blind eye or use it against them to serve their own agenda.
The city of Charming will never be the same.
Sons of Anarchy Episode 412 Season 4 - Burnt and Purged Away
The episode starts in Jemmas kitchen, one of the prospects came in looking for Clay.
Clay had spent the night at the clubhouse after assaulting Jemma. Jackson goes to the hospital to
talk to Tara, is new wife and mother / and adoptive mother of his two sons, Thomas and Abel.
Tara tells Jackson that his ex wife Wendy wants to have involvement with their son Abel.
Jackson leaves the hospital to find Clay. The club is under fire from a bad gun deal. Jackson has
been trying to find away to leave the Sons and start a new life with Terra and his sons.

Porter, this seasons ATF agent is trying to get the Sons for Ricco, Potter wants to bring
the gun trade from California to Belfast to a halt. They have been trying to get the Sons on past
indiscretions because all of the other previous agents could not make charges stick to get a
conviction. They are trying to do this by blackmailing Auto, a Sons of Anarchy founding
member that is currently serving a life sentence. Auto, had taken a 5 year prison term for a club
related charge and he committed offences while in prison that has cost him life. Auto has
confessed to crimes over the past decade, he tells Bobby (one of the founding fathers, and the
man that was sleeping with his wife while she got murdered) to inform the club. The ATF keeps
Bobby in custody so he does not tell the club what Auto had done.
Clay visits Tara in the hospital while Jackson is away. Clay is trying to get the letters that
John Teller wrote his mistress telling her that he knew his death was coming and pointing the
finger at Clay and Jemma. Tara knows that it would destroy Jackson and just wants to move
away from all of danger. Jemma walks in and confronts Clay. Jackson shortly after arrives and
he tells his mother that he is moving his family out of Charming. Jemma is heartbroken.
Opie has is father Piney cremated secretly. Piney was one of the founding fathers of Sons
of Anarchy. Opie and Jackson are childhood best friends. Opie found his father dead at the cabin
after Clay murdered him for trying to stop the club from running drugs. Opie knows that Clay
killed his father and his wife Donna because Jemma told Opie after Clay assaulted her. Opie is
going to revenge his father. Jackson is trying to stop Opie so revenge can be handled by the club.
Opie finds Clay and shoots him.
Sons of Anarchy Episode 413 Season 4 - To Be Act 1

The aftermath of Opie shooting Clay the club tries to cover up the assault. Clay is still
alive, and the club comes up with the cover of Clay being shot by two black men. The former
Charming police chief Unser stays with clay until the ambulance arrives to ensure Clays
survival and the story is told correctly to protect the club. Jackson gets Opie out of town and
promises him to find the truth. Unser tells the new police chief the lie of the events. The new
chief knows there is something wrong but he cannot prove it.
The ATF is hoping that the meet for the Irish guns will still take place with Clay in the
hospital. They need the exchange to take place so they can get the evidence they need to build
their case against the Sons. The Sons do not know that the Mexican Cartel that they have been
running drugs for and selling guns too are really ATF agents that are trying to take down the
Irish. These are the same men that Clay paid to assassinate Tara when her kidnapping was
botched by Jackson.
Tara has begun to pack for the move when Jemma walks in. Jemma pleads for the letters from
John Teller. Jemma tells her if she gives her the letters to give to Clay then she will be out of
danger.
Tig, a member of the Sons does not know the real truth behind Clays shooting. Tig retaliates in
broad daylight by running down LeRoy, the leader of the 9ers (a black gang) and his girlfriend.
The Sons lead LeRoy on a high speed chase on a high traffic road. The Sons shoot at LeRoys
cars killing his drivers and crashing into innocent peoples cars waiting in traffic. No police
officers are called.
Jemma meets Jackson at the club house. She tells Jackson the truth about Opies fathers death,
and she gives him the letters and tells Jackson that Clay was behind John Tellers death. Jackson

finds out that because she had the letters Clay was the one that tried to kill Tara over the secret.
Jackson decides to kill Clay and become the President of the Sons of Anarchy.
What makes this series so interesting is that it is very graphic in nature and shows exactly that,
nature of a gang. With exceptions, it is pretty close to what gang life and law enforcement
integrations entail. Many times there are relationships formed and crimes overlooked either for
the greater good of the community or the bigger picture. In the series unlike many others, the
Sons of Anarchy shows that there are many facets of law enforcement that takes place while
investigating crimes. The club is arrested and investigated on both local and federal level and
there is also struggle between those agencies as well. What is more dynamic is the treachery
within the club itself. Many of the characters interact with police and other law enforcement to
solve problems. These dealings are against the very principals the club was founded. In real
life there is good and bad. In every situation there is a hero and a protagonist, wither you are a
law enforcement officer or an outlaw that is just a title, what determines what role you play is the
action you take.
