SAPPublic Budget Formulation (PBF) is a comprehensive web-based solution that supports the
entire public sector organization through the complete budget development.
SAP Public Budget Formulation is an add-on component that provides:

A single point-of-entry for all budget types enabling real-time budget reporting and
analysis.
Robust personnel expenditure projection tools with integration to SAP HCM to provide
easier reconciliation of position/employee changes throughout the budget life cycle.
Streamlined budget request and review process including tools for prioritizing and
making budget decisions.
Improved budget monitoring capabilities after budget adoption.

The standard PBF solution does not had the functionality to copy over the budget form data from one
form ID to another form id. But Central Budget Management System (CBMS) had the functionality to
copy the form ID data into a new one with the help of different functionalities such as copy Form, File
upload, Stage Enhancements etc.

Enhanced Standard Business Content Info Cubes like Line Item, Payment History, Cost and
Allocation and in BCT ODS objects to include source system ID, time characteristics and
harmonized version.
