worldwide,
whichidentify
Zionismand Israelas Jewishandmaketheirclaimto Palestineon thebasisof
thatJewishness.
The PLO has alwaysrejectedthiscoupling,referring

Israelnotas the"Jewish
State"butas the"ZionistEntity."

PLO and Palestinian
intellectuals,
however,mostPalestinians
call theiroppressors"Jews,"a name theiroppressorschose forthemselvesand on
