negative side should not be forgotten. Discuss.

World has become a small village with the latest communication and transportation
technologies. Business markets are feeling the heat of competition in price and
quality with globalization. Some believe that globalization has negative effect on
commerce, however, others support it. In this essay I will delve in to discussion on
pros and cons of globalization.
Many have opinion that opening up of trade and industries without boundaries
would benefit only developed countries, while developing countries will be left far
behind in competition. Advanced nations have already gained strength in industries,
finance, energy reservoirs and consumer productions, leaving ne such space for
growing economies to come up in competition globally. In addition to this huge
influx of foreign products with good price and quality would cripple the local
industries and businesses of developing countries, creating huge un employment
and trade deficits. Thus, it is evident that growing influence of globalization will
effect under developed nations in all form of life.
However, majority believe that globalizing the commerce will benefit consumers.
They will have more variety of products with varied qualities and competitive
pricing. It will trigger a fair competition and destroy the monopolies formed by few
traders. Moreover, industries would flourish and grow as they would have access to
global markets and can venture in to foreign lands for even those commodities
which are not popular in their homeland. Furthermore, increase in trade and
industries will bring in more and more people in to employment. This would not
only be beneficial for the individuals but also for the whole society as living
standard will definitely increase. In addition to this, with the growth in business,
industry and employment sectors government would be benefited by collecting
taxes and it will prove to be very useful in generating money that will be used for
provisioning of civic and basic facilities to citizens.
In conclusion, I believe that despite several concerns on negative effects of
globalization on commerce it remains a better opportunity for hard working nations
to come forward and prove their metal. This will not only prove successful in
growing economies but all sectors associated with societies such as employment,
education, health facilities, life styles and arts will grows equally. Globalizing of
trade is the key to a prosperous future. (381 Words)
