Please continue bringing plastic grocery bags and food for the Little Red Wagon. Thanks!
A letter from Open Door Recovery Center:
Dear Congregation Members,
Approximately one year ago, Open Door Recovery Center received a large grant for the purpose of increasing the size of
our facility called Hills House. Hills House now has the capacity to treat 8 women who are either pregnant or have a child
up to age five. These women suffer with the disease of addiction and at times have mental health disorders that make it
extremely challenging for them to manage.
Open Door and Hills House combined make it possible for these women and their babies to have a chance for a healthy,
productive and meaningful life. We are at the state of construction where we now need help furnishing the house with
items that will make the house a home. We are reaching out to the community with the hope that we will be able to
receive donated items that will help make Hills House a comfortable and inviting environment for each client to begin
their journey in recovery.
We are grateful for your consideration and support.
Respectfully,
Barbara Royal, Executive Director
