Bus ducts comply with the project requirements. Where welding of the bus ducts is needed, it
will be performed by competent personnel. When welding will be made, welding area will be
protected with tent. Flammable things will be got rid of area. The working area has to be tidy up
and floor or platform has to be protected via fire prove blanket against sparks falling. Bus ducts
weld will be sprayed with spray immediately after welding. Spray will be given by supervisor.
Spay MSDS will be ready available at the working place. The weld surface has to be brushed and
welding slag has to be removed. After cool down of weld the area must be painted. Protective
measures will be taken in accordance with the MSDS. Argon gas will be used with welder
device, so it will be taken some precautions when it will be used. Open cylinder valves slowly
with valve outlet directed away from all personnel. Do not empty a cylinder completely. This
will prevent a flash-back and a possible explosive mixture. Purge oxygen and acetylene lines
before lighting. Close the main cylinder valve as soon as it is no longer necessary to have it open.
Before you remove the regulator make sure that the cylinder valve is closed.

6.5.

Installation

Check last revision of approved project then start installation. Controlling the montage
equipments of bus duct with the supervisor and performed an examination on the project then
gives the tasks to the team. Scaffold will be set by trained people. It will be color-coded.
Installation will be carried out in accordance with the last approved revision of the installation
projects. Request form for materials will be prepared. Site will be controlled by busduct
supervisor then according to supervisor, it will be transported. Bus ducts will be transported from
lay down area to site with crane and pickup. While it will be carried, it will be fixed safely in the

area, the bus ducts will be placed in a way that will not prevent safe access and egress. Checking
will be done for the accessories of bus ducts and preparation of bus ducts accessories for
montage, after boxes will be opened. Erection of bus ducts will be started by crane. Signaler will
help operator when it will be lifted. All personnel, who work high places, will have PPE.
Installation of bus ducts will be executed according to the requirements. According to supervisor,
it will be erected. Erection will be tracked from transformers to circuit breaker then from circuit
breaker to turbine. Precondition Generator including the terminals to IPB has been installed.
Installation will follow the erection drawing. The silicone bushings at phase side must be
installed during alignment of shipping units. Preconditions the unit auxiliary transformer must be
installed before erection of the connecting shipping units. Installation will follow the erection
drawing. Bus ducts comply with the projects requirements. Where cutting of bus ducts is needed,
it will be sprayed with spray immediately. When all erection and testing will be done, scaffold
