EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
BBC FOODS, CO. is a business partnership established recently this 2015. The
business is built with the firm foundation of three Food Science and Technology
students. Equipped with the full knowledge of food safety and processing, BBC FOODS,
CO aims to provide high quality of food products with value for money.
BBC FOODS will proudly launch its first product, THE GOURMET MUNCHKINS. With
the desire to serve food products in an affordable price, we have agreed to sell The
Gourmet Munchkins. These munchkins are not your typical munchkins, packed with
different flavors we believe that we are delivering an affordable sweet treats without
compromising quality.
The major reason behind our desire to establish the business is that we love food. As a
group we love to eat especially sweets. One of us knows how to make munchkins and
by that we innovate the munchkins to three flavored sweet confectionaries.

We have

the Peanut-Bomb, Salted Caramel and Original Munchkin.

We are confident that BBC FOODS GOURMET MUNCHKINS will be a hit to
consumers. Our product has its own unique flair with its flavor profiles. With an
optimistic view of the future, we are competent to become a firm small business
delivering high quality of food products. The business plan has been completed with the
cooperation of the group and is designed to support our idea with a realistic overview of
the viability of the proposal.

PRODUCT
The company will produce and sell three kinds of the Gourmet Munchkin.

PEANUT-BOMB

A chocolate munchkin filled with decadent home-made peanut butter and rolled in
powdered peanuts.

MILKY MILK

A milk munchkin filled with soft marshmallow and rolled in sweet coconut.

ORIGINAL MUNCHKIN

A chocolate munchkin filled with soft marshmallow and rolled in sweet coconut
shavings.

MARKETING PLAN
BBC FOODS is riding on with social media in promoting our products. However, wordof-mouth is our main marketing strategy to promote our product. Nothing beats a real
testimony and experience of a customer to encourage others to try and experience
Gourmet Munchkin.
Our desired target market is everybody. Sounds ambitious but its true, we are offering
this sweet treats in a reasonable price for everybody to taste. We are very confident that
everybody will love our product because were offering a new flavor profile for
munchkins in the market. That makes us stick out better with other munchkin seller. For
only Php 3.00 everyone can taste their desired flavor of Gourmet Munchkin.
We are not yet planning to rent a space for selling. We believe that roaming around is
much accessible for customers to buy from us.

ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN
At present, we are composed of only three key persons in the business. We divided the
production, financial and operations to each of us to handle. Given with only three kinds
of munchkins, we have decided to split up the production of each kind. Also, we are the
owners and investors of the BBC FOODS, CO..

We also need bowls, spatulas, stock pot, mortar & pestle and plastic containers in
making the munchkins. We will be making each kinds of munchkin in our respective
homes. We cant make it in a specific house because our schedules as students are
different from one another.

FINANCIAL PLAN
The BBC FOODS is owned and operated by three students. Thus making capitalization
a bit limited. We have decided to divide the first market expense equally to fairly share
the expenses in this project.
A one batch of munchkin can yield 55 pieces of munchkin balls and were planning to
sell it for Php 3.00 each. We can provide financial statements as we will start to operate
very soon.
