Entry Requirements
A Minimum of second class honours degree or
equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics,
Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or any other
recognised degree qualification in line with this
course.
Career Prospects
The Masters programme fulfils a growing need for
energy specialists who have technological
expertise backed up by a firm understanding of
economics, policy and innovation. In general, they
are
employed
as
engineers,
researchers,
consultants, auditors or policymakers. Many are also
employed in management positions.
Teaching Methods
Practical and experimental skills are developed
through project work and laboratory exercises.
Design skills are developed through course work
exercises supported by the use of the relevant
computational packages.
Practical skills are tested and assessed throughout
the programme using a combination of coursework
assignments, design studies, laboratory logbooks
and project reports and/or papers. Conferences,
workshops, seminars on subject matters by visiting
professors or Industrialists ensure the strong link
between education and research are further
consolidated.
Duration of Course
Fulltime: 2 years (4 semesters)
Part-time: 3 years (6 semesters)
Fees
Full Time: Rs 22,500 per semester
Part Time: Rs 17,500 per semester
