INTRODUCTION

1.1 LITERATURE SURVEY(Write about the research papers you

have read.)
Touch screens emerged from academic and corporate research labs in second half of
1960s. One of first places where they gained some visibility was in term that came out
in 1972 as part of PLATO project. The HP-150 from 1983 was probably the worlds
earliest commercial touch Screen computer. It is 9inchs Sony CRT surrounded by
infrared object on the Screen.
Historically, the Touch Screen sensor and its accompanying controller-bared
firmware have been made available by wide array of market system integrates and not
by display, chip or motherboard manufacturers and system on chip. Manufacturers
worldwide have acknowledged the trend toward acceptance of touch screens as a
highly desirable user interface component and have begun to integrate Touch Screen
functionality into fundamental design of their products.

1.2 INTRODUCTION OF SEMINAR TOPIC

A Touch Screen is a display which can detect the presence and location of touch
within the display area. The term generally refers to touch or contact display of
devices by a finger or hand. Touch Screens can also Sense other passive objects, such
as Stylus. The ability to interact directly with a display typically indicates the
presence of Touch Screens.

CONCLUSION

REFERNCES
The listing of references should be typed in alphabetical order of the first
authors name in single spacing starting 5 spaces below the heading
REFERENCES in Times New Roman with font size 16 bold. The name/s of the

space. The papers (in journal or proceedings) should be in sentence mode
followed by the name of journal (in italics), vol. issue, page (from-to) while
the book titles should be in title mode in italics followed by the place and
publishers. E-resources should have their proper URL. A typical illustrative list
given relates to the citation examples quoted above. For typing the
