Good morning ladies and gentlemen. How are you today? I hope you all are
always in good condition
First, let us thank to the God for blessing us, for his blessing we have been given
opportunity to get knowledge at this moment. Before starting our discussion let
me introduce myself and the members of our meeting today. My name is Dewa
Gede Sastra Ananta Wijaya as a leader of Thist Toast Master. The first there is
Arta as the moderator who guidance in this meeting. The second is Dayu Rika as a
speaker who present the topic today. The third there is Ita as a table topic speaker.
The fourth there is Wita as a speech evaluator. The fifth there is Ayu as a
grammarian. The sixth is Amelia as a Ah Counter. The Seventh is Ita as a time
keeper.
And the topic is Anemia. To discuss the topic more details, it will be presented
by the Speaker and before that please welcome Artha as our moderator who
manage the Toast master. Artha time is yours

Good morning everybody, thank you for the time that has given to me. Im as
moderator in this toast master, Id like to explain the mechanism of this toast
master.
1. First, Id like to give the time and place for the table topic speaker I to
deliver her material about the line of anemia.
2. Second, the table topic speaker II deliver her material about anemia in
detail.
3. Third, the time and place will be given to the time keeper to report the
timing that had been spent by all members of this toast master.
4. Next, grammarian will give her result of evaluation regarding the grammar
fault had been stated by table topic speaker I and Table topic speaker II.
5. And the next, the Ah-counter deliver her evaluation regarding the fillers
we have said.
6. And the last the table topic speaker I will give the summary of the topic.
7. As the closing, the leader will close the toast master activity.
Thats all the explanation of the mechanism of the toast master. Now Id like to
give the time for table topic speaker I to deliver the material about the line of
anemia.

Thank you for the time that has given to me. I am Yeni as table topic speaker I in this
Toast Master activity. Well, the topic we are going to talk about today is Anemia. Anemia
means the condition of having a lower than normal number of red blood cell or quantity
of hemoglobin. To have a detail explanation about symptom and medical management of
anemia, that will be explained by the speaker. The time and place will be returned to
moderator. Thank you.

Summary :
Alright, now I am going to conclude Toastmaster today. Anemia is the condition of
having a lower than normal number of red blood cell. Pronounce symptom of anemia
such as dyspnea, chest pain, muscle pain or cramping, tachycardia, weakness, fatigue,
pallor of the skin, jaundice, angular cheilosis, etc. The methods to diagnose anemia by
using complete hematologic studies. Management of anemia is directed toward correcting
or controlling the cause of the anemia.

Thank you for the time you have given to me. My name is Dayu Rika , now
I will explain you about anemia disease. I will explain you definition of anemia,
clinical manifestation, Assessment and Diagnostic Methods, Medical
Management, Gerontology Considerations.
First i will tell you about definition of anemia. Anemia is the condition of
having lower than normal number of red blood cells or quantity of hemoglobin.
When someone get anemia their oxygen circulation will be disturb, because
quantity of hemoglobin (the function is to banding oxygen from red blood cells).
Anemia is not a specific, disease state, but a sign of an underlying disorder. It is
by far the most common hematologic condition. There are several kinds of
anemia. Its classified based in its essence that reduce in red blood cells.
Second is the symptoms of anemia disease. In general the more rapidly an
anemia develops, the more severe its symptoms. Pronounced symptoms of anemia
in include the following:

Dyspnea, chest pain, muscle pain or cramping, tachycardia


Weakness, fatigue, general malaise
Pallor of the skin and mucous membranes (conjunctivae,
oral mucosa)
Jaundice (megaloblastic or hemolytic anemia)
Smooth, red tongue (iron-deficiency anemia)
Beefy, red, sore tongue (megaloblastic anemia)
Angular cheilosis (ulceration of the corner of the mouth)
Brittle, ridged, concave nails and pica (unusual craving for
starch, dirt, ice) in patients with iron-deficiency anemia

Third for the assessment and diagnostic methods, you can prove your
anemia disease by hematologic test like :
a. Complete hematologic studies (eg, hemoglobin, hematocrit, reticulocyte
count, and red blood cell (RBC) indices, particularly the mean
corpuscular volume [MCV] and RBC distribution width [RDW])
b. Iron studies (serum iron level, total iron-binding capacity [TIBC], percent
saturation, and ferritin)
c. Serum vitamin B12 and folate levels; haptoglobin and erythropoietin
levels
d. Bone marrow aspiration
e. Other studies as indicated to determine underlying illness

Forth for the medical management. Management of anemia is directed


toward correcting or controlling the cause of the anemia; if the anemia is severe,
the erythrocytes that are lost or destroyed may be replaced with a transfusion of
packed RBCs (PRBCs).
And then I will explain you about nursing process of anemia disease. In
nursing process there are five process: assessment, diagnosis, nursing
interventions, implementation, and evaluation. The specifically process you can
read more in Nanda International or NIC NOC books, this book explain you about
nursing process.
