Job Description

The Wholesale Banking division of Wells Fargo provides comprehensive financial solutions to corporate clients in every major industry. Our clientele is comprised of
large multinational corporations, middle market companies, developers and investors (public and private) in the commercial real estate market, financial institutions,
private equity firms and government entities.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Leadership Pipeline Summer Assoicate Program is a competitive, non-rotational intern program that provides broad exposure to various business segments of
Wholesale Banking. The 10 week program focuses on practical hands-on learning and provides the opportunity to gain an understanding of Wells Fargos operations,
business strategies, and corporate culture. Positions are available in San Francisco, Minneapolis and Charlotte. Based on candidate preference and business need,
summer associates will be placed in one of six functional tracks described below.
Sales and Client Services
Typical assignments include: updating and analyzing prospect information stored in CRMs to identify sales opportunities; participate in client meetings to learn
product and service capabilities and sales strategies; develop analytical skills by participating in data mining and customer analytics projects.
Project Management
Typical assignments include: developing an implementation strategy for a new application or sales tool; developing and implementing strategies for increasing cross
sell activity; developing and implementing staffing models and resource management tools for projects; manage projects associated with identifying alternate product
solutions.
Finance
Typical assignments include: Operational Workflow analysis, investment reporting, client service and competitive information, analysis of operational product
pricing/profitability, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process, revenue allocation, settlement of trade activity, company valuations, research summaries, and
special projects.
Technology
Typical assignments include: assisting with a variety of technology initiatives, assisting with the business requirements associated applications, designing and coding
a software application, setting up internal website for project management and changing management tracking, reporting, etc
Marketing
Typical assignments include: Partnering with digital designers to plan and create program and channel specific creative content; developing written documentation
such as proposals, presentations and client case studies; partnering with marketing strategists to develop and improve various process flows; supporting various
marketing campaigns such as email and direct mail; evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness using established benchmarks.
Risk Management
Typical assignments include: Reading and then creating process flow charts of business policies; providing a fresh perspective on ways to improve risk policies for
line of businesses; using data from Tableau to create charts and graphs for the quarterly report; categorigizing issue solutions to different areas within risk
management; comprehending governmental regulations regarding financial crimes

- A speaker series featuring Wells Fargos top leaders, where you can gain insight into how to make the most of your summer experience, and learn about current
trends in the financial markets.
- Organized activities that promote community involvement and networking with other summer and full-time analysts across business lines.

YOUR NEXT STEP


Associates who successfully complete the Summer Associate Program are considered for the full time Leadership Pipeline Program upon graduation.
Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills.
Associates are required to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications

Preference is given to those with the following skills:


Bachelors degree candidate with an expected graduation in December 2016 or May/June 2017
Advanced knowledge of working with Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated leadership ability and team participation in college, extracurricular or work related environments
Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven track record for taking initiative
Demonstrated creativity and flexibility
