Did you know about the case of PT Semen Tonasa in the demo are not transparent to
the public because the public regarding CSR? Surrounding communities are not aware of any
budget disbursed for the management of CSR, they hardly enjoy such funds. The community

the company towards society and the environment at the company site is a crucial issue that is

companies that can be done through CSR programs.
CSR is the obligation of any company regulated in Act 40 of 2007, article 74,
paragraph 1, of the companies running their businesses and or related to natural resources,
required to carry out its social and environmental responsibility, at least two percent of the
profits. World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is a global
association that consists of about 200 companies specifically engaged in the field of
"sustainable development" (sustainable development) states as follows: "CSR is an ongoing
commitment by business to act ethically and contribute to the economic development of the
local community or society at large, along with an increase in the living standards of workers
and the whole family ".
That means, CSR is the action taken by the company as a sense of corporate
responsibility towards the public interest and the environment in which they operate.
Implementation of CSR programs will create the golden circle that will be enjoyed by the
company and its stakeholders. Through CSR, welfare and socio-economic life of local
communities and society at large to be more secure. This in turn will ensure the smooth
running of the entire process or production activities of the company as well as the marketing
of the company's production. While the preservation of the environment and nature in
addition to ensure a smooth production process also ensures the availability of raw material

supply of production taken from nature. In other words, CSR is an investment program for
the company for growth and sustainability (sustainability) because it indirectly, CSR
