Massimo Scaligero: Dell Amore Immortale - About immortal love

Chapter 11: The resurrection of feeling, the life of light

1.

The ability to feel is the ability to quench feeling. To enter feeling without being dragged into it – to
achieve transparency of feeling.
The art is to discover feeling as a disembodied life, in which the unknown forces of the Earth
physically resonate: forces that want to be seen, observed and penetrated into, not felt.
For such vision is feeling, which at last feels just as vision sees. In fact, only that is visible what does
not obstruct vision: what can be seen.
The common feeling is what prevents us from feeling. The feeling, however, can really feel: can be
felt: this is what’s never realized by the course of nature.
This is the possibility of the direct presence of the Self in perception: the possibility of pure thought to
be directly alive in feeling: what automatically arises as pain, joy, fear, anxiety, desire: because of facts,
or thoughts about facts, or memories.
Because of facts that arise as the circumstances of feeling, grabbing feeling which never really felt
them, because it was never the feeling that felt, but it was the feeling that every time lost the possibility to
feel while having become a sentiment.
This feeling in itself was always dark pain, even in the form of joy: that is why its death is the
possibility of its life.

2.

What needs to be done is twofold: to achieve conscious presence in certain perceptions; to achieve the
perception of the feeling, which commonly echoes as depression or exaltation after becoming distorted in
emotions.
The two activities are essentially two forms of the same movement. The beginning of true feeling lies
in the quenching of the illusory feeling and the dedication to true perception opens the way to the feeling:
to type of feeling what can feel, and what is yet unknown.

3.

Meditation is working on the extinction of the unrealistic element of feeling while it recalls its process
and grabs the typical distortion in it.
To voluntarily recall an emotion means getting to know that emotion, which usually arises because of
a thing or a sensation: now we only look at the feeling, even to the extent when we can enter the feeling,
what commonly floods the soul.
For that one needs sometimes to feel the feeling in its full spontaneity, in its direct breaking out: as it
happens with unexpected joy, suffering, anxiety or inner torment. To acquire the feeling material, or the
human soul-substance, on which we can work, and to understand how little we are conscious in an
overwhelming emotion; how we destroy its force, which is life. So that one day feeling can manifest its
life, because its real manifestation is the life of light, or the alive element of light, which fades out as a
thought.
The secret is: not to resist the feeling, but to get free from it in force-system of the head, and to let
feeling manifest in the "central sphere" or in the "rhythm-zone", which is the area between the larynx and
the solar plexus: grasping feeling in its totality, allowing its life to flow: in which we can find, at last, as
our own existence, the happiness.
Anxiety, worrying, the anguish of the soul may be pathways to happiness, if we do not resist them, if
we meet them, endure them to feel their strength, and to get to know their strength as a life-force.
Enduring means to feel the emotion in the middle- or chest-zone, this is the development of a feeling

1
within the directly arising feeling, which peels off as a useless shell to give space to the real feeling in its
place.
The art is to open up to the feeling in the middle zone: to go gently towards the painful emotion,
freeing it from aversion and fear: surrendering ourselves to it without objection, wanting it in its pureness
or totality: because what we cannot grasp from it, what we cannot penetrate will entwine us: it is the pain:
the pain that will remain unless we grasp its movement and open up to it – unless we allow it to achieve
what it wants. This is the movement of thinking, of a new thinking, which restores this feeling as a life-
flow. Because feeling can be felt only by what is missing from it: by the light of thinking. The lack of this
light and the constant, similar returns of pain is the appearance of the same form of fate. Because pain is
always denied pain.
The felt pain, the penetrated pain is a form of light, which becomes a life-flow.
Man does not have this feeling yet: the ancient man had it as the spontaneous ability of vision and as
the strength of faith. The feeling, into which we can penetrate now because by its change through the
ability of thinking – the feeling, which ceases to be the clothing of distortion.
Not those people are born spiritually, who lose their ability to feel and let themselves sink into some
sort of vague equanimity, but those who meet the sound of the world in the alive feeling, which rarely
heard by human ears. They don’t avoid emotions, they know how to accept them, extracting the life-
element from them, which is denied by emotions themselves.
We can practice to separate from feeling the element, which is not feeling, the element of lie or
distortion, by the fact, that feelings can provide their directness and their tendency to become the
movement of the spirit in the soul.
Pure joy is the privilege of those who are able to achieve transparency in the flowing feeling.
The richness of life uncovers itself for those who can understand golden element of feeling, which is
there in every feeling. We can resurrect all feelings in their entirety, knowing that life is there in them as
the beating of the heart, which fades away every time in emotions and in thought. Life can live in
thinking, if it is clean; life can resurrect in feelings as bright perception.
The original feeling is actually the bright life-fabric of thinking and perception. This is the
inextinguishable life, which accompanies man as a chance of his terrestrial existence. For now, we only
experience it as a fabric of dreams: appearing in all selfless love-gestures.

4.

Strong feeling are richness continuously lost; we have to get to know them if we want them to become
the property of the soul again.
Strong emotions become life-completeness, if they are indeed felt – not if we suffer them, when they
overwhelm the soul. Those who really feel them can transform them to rhythm, poetic power and vision.
Only the subject of the feeling can feel the feeling, not the unconscious object of it: not the one who is
moved by the feeling, but the one who really feels. Who can open to the feeling, because he wants to feel.
It is good that strong emotions arise because only by them has the soul the opportunity to get rid of the
troubled-volatile element, which comes from its belonging to nature.
We live in feeling if we are able to move in its substance in a way that through a certain feeling we can
experience the totality of feeling. In such a way that we should be able to open up by a certain feeling to
the flood of life, which is the substance of each feeling: because pain contains joy ready to open up, and
joy contains the beginning of penetrating pain: which is not our pain, but the objective pain of the living
creatures around us,: the secret is to feel Them. This is the pain we are allowed to feel, because it is
basically the secret of joy.
Because the pain we are really allowed to feel is not the pain events force upon us, but the pain we
want to feel, because we decide to feel it, if we are free. Because it is not our pain, this is the pain that
exists, and therefore we can feel it as our own. This is the pain of man and of the beings that are suffering
for humanity.

5.

One needs to create lucid thinking, the direct lucidity of all thinking.

2
This thinking carries inside pure feeling as life-flow: what have not gotten corrupted in feeling.
Therefore, this thinking is able to identify with the content of a specific emotion: this emotion becomes
one with the motion of thinking and resurrects as thinking.
And that's the secret: every emotion is the echo of an ‘unfinished thinking’, which does not need to
echo in us in its imperfection, but it needs to be finished: to get its completion from conscious thinking. It
is an unfinished thinking, because it is subject to partial vision: a lie, which echoes as feeling, and
therefore feeling always gets deprived of its reality or its life.
This uncompleted thinking echoes in the soul while it seeks to be completed with the lucidity it is
deprived of. Each emotion is a direct lucidity-claim, not something to identify with. Every feeling rises in
order to be sensed, that is, to be known, not in order to flood consciousness. It wants to be the experience
of the feeling by getting rid of the blur-cover, which is the obscurity into which only thinking can
penetrate, if it is lucidity thinking.
In that sense every feeling is a happiness to be found again: it manifests so that it can fade into this
happiness. There is no pain, worry or anxiety, which would manifest not in order to emerge as lucidity
again.
We have to consider every feeling as an observation, which requires it’s lucidity-thinking: it wants to
manifest the hidden meaning of its existence as thinking. This thinking is what is missing from it, and that
is precisely why it manifests as that specific feeling.
This thinking penetrates into the secret of feeling.
Every feeling is an open gate to spirit’s beautiful and infinitely rich world: if we absorb the feeling, if
we let ourselves into its flow, giving it the lucidity, which it requires: so that it can restore itself as life or
as the life of lucidity.
To open to it is to meet it with non-dialectical thinking, with thinking independent of all feeling. To
open to it is to permeate it. To permeate it is to get rid of the instinct-process in its life-element: and this
is the life, which once again connects the soul to its star-source.
If the flow of instincts gets free from feelings, it becomes the force of will: and, as such, it becomes the
new capacity of thinking and feeling.
The movement of alive thinking permeates feeling, which arises as thinking – ordinary feeling is the
echo of the deprivation of thinking. This thinking arises as pure lucidity, which is the illumination of the
life of feeling and at the same time the deep life of thinking: since the life-lucidity is one for both.

6.

The pain is precious because of the life-element it compresses and obfuscates in itself: but it can only
compress and obfuscate it by denied thinking: alive thinking can run through it again and lift it up to the
light of its own.
This is the new life that is able to penetrate the old life and that is why it urges at the border: it causes
pain to what limits it.
It is the urge of life that wants to devote itself: it pushes against what prevents it to devote itself until
its dedication is realized. This is the sense of pain.
This is not the morbid enjoyment of the suffering, nor the mystical glorification of pain: that would
mean making the means to the goal; but this is the possibility of suffering to give an opportunity for the
movement of thinking. To give an opportunity for thinking to have a deep synthesis with life: that is what
thinking separates itself from in order to be thinking. Now it can find life again where it mixes obscurely
with aversion, desire, pain: but the transparency of thinking is its identification with life beyond
obscurity. The darkness is chased out by light.
At the instant when pain enters the soul, thinking can catch what refuses to be thought through, but
with this catching it thinks it through and releases it from its being enchanted. This is what refuses to be
thought through, because it seeks to move thinking so that it echoes as a thought: reversing the flow of
thinking.
The perception of pain means not allowing it to find the way into thinking, but to penetrate it with the
internal clarity/lucidity of thinking instead: then pain is restored by liberated feeling as unknown
happiness. And that is the life of lucidity.

3
7.

In painful feelings pure thinking may pervade the longing-fearful-dark element without being affected
by it. This element belongs to the soul, not to the matter that seemed to cause it. And if thinking pervades
it, it also transforms it: perceives it as reversed force, which turns back to pure force simply by being
perceived: turns to an alive relationship with the matter.
The ability of pure thinking is that it can meet with its untouched, non-dialectical nature the fear and
desire element of a tormenting feeling, and it can make that element its content where normally the
thought is its content. This is the action, which frees the content of a feeling within the feeling itself.
Feeling always arises for a content. It is not the content; it is the reason of the feeling. Therefore, one
never really owns the feeling, but continuously suffers the loss of it as pain or joy.
The real content is the feeling, not the reason of the feeling. The real content can only be known by
pure feeling.
The work is to actually possess the feeling: to possess the substance of what we experience as feeling
or emotion. In its various manifestations we do not experience the feeling, but its reversed movement, the
echo of which is for us to hear and not to flood the soul.
Pure feeling is impersonal happiness.

8.

The soul can heal from its deep misery if strong emotions or feelings manifest it. One can observe in
its untouched power what, as a feeling, gets distorted and destroyed.
What is distorted and destroyed is what man never possesses as feeling: we only feel its absence or
destruction: that's why inside all feelings there is pain, as some clothing that is denied happiness.
The joy which cheers us by illusory values and temporary earthly pleasures will create the slow
accumulation of pain, which will erupt as hostile fate, for which man will blame others, the society or
events: only to attract fate to return in the same form again, bringing the same unsolved problems to
surface.
Feeling is only feeling if it sacrifices feeling. Therefore, we can only feel if we do not feel the feeling.
Feeling not felt is thinking. But it is the thinking of meditation, which we direct to a certain feeling: in
which feeling can resurrect again.
In thinking we get to know the feeling, which will not come to nothing.
Out of the death of feeling, the habitual feeling can arise the heavenly feeling – then feeling, which
usually comes to nothing will not die. In the death of the habitual feeling we can live: that is, if we
experience the death of it.
This is the descend into the death of feeling, the descend of deep thinking into the feeling or its sinking
into feeling: this thinking is alive by such life, which is the unfolding lucidity of feeling.
This thinking is able to penetrate the secret of the soul and notice there the radical egoism, the radical
desire.

9.

The painful feelings and emotions provide a better opportunity, than the happy ones, to grab the
element of the continuous distortion of life in the feeling: the element of disease and death.
Inside the feeling one can grip a pure movement, which is free from the subtle destruction of disease
and death. This movement is cognitive life, which arises at the same time as the essence of thinking and
the lucidity of feeling. This is life, the appearance in consciousness of which requires the destruction of
what is necessarily hostile to it as physical nature. The secret to rebuild existence belongs to that.
The old feeling must die for the new to appear: the new does not need to oppose life in order to be,
because it bears the essence of life within.
Feeling does not die, it resurrects. In fact, it never dies, only transforms so that it can re-occur again: it
always tries to re-occur through pain, to manifest again. It is the devotion of life itself, which seeks its
own movement. With its inherent forces it is consonant with the soul: these forces operate in the ‘middle
zone’, and have their centre in the immaterial heart.

4
10.

The extinction of the illusory feeling liberates the life-flow of the heart.
The spiritual Self of man is present in the existence of the world with an organ of sense, which does
not need the mediation of thinking to penetrate into the essence of things, since it carries the essence of
thinking and things inside it as unified life. The essence notices its own existence here, to arise as the life
of thinking (which is usually lifeless thinking), because its structure is in compliance with the
archetypical form of man.
Such organ of sense is the heart, not the physical heart, but the centre of life-currents, for which the
physical heart is only a carrier: the life of the world and the spirit meet in this centre, if the Self liberates
itself from both: if the forces of self-consciousness strengthen through the individual ascension of
thinking.
The invisible heart is the reality of man's heart; the heart of the world. In which the current of man’s
future urges.

11.

Devotion is the peace of feeling. This is feeling in its pure movement: the first echo of its immaterial
life. This is the ultimate meaning of pain and joy.
For devotion or pure human love to be born, the original forces of the feeling were bound to sex and to
the ego. Only that can be born as love, which liberates itself from the ego and from sex.
Human love is what Divine Love expects from man, as a flowering, which is only possible on Earth.
Human love is a miracle, which can only emerge from earthly man, who can only exist if he denies love:
this is the miracle of freedom, prepared by the gods, but only possible for man.
The peace of feeling is the beginning of this miracle: its real existence. Peace is its movement.
The realised movement is love. This is the feeling that can deny itself to arise as the feeling of the
other: its own peace is the place where the other can resurrect or live a new life. This is divine love that
becomes human love.
Divine love becoming human love is sacrificing the habitual feeling. Man can only do this with the
courage that changes into cognitive force: based on the bold idea, that the human may be transcended,
because man has the power within, which is able to transcend it.

12.

One can love so deeply that feeling disappears: one can want the feeling so radically that he gets free
from its necessity. In the middle zone one is able to accept the life of the feeling, which is commonly lost:
one can open up to the lucidity forces of feeling, if one wants it fully.
Commonly, human feeling is nature, not spirit. It is the soul grabbed by nature. But where the spirit
can grab the soul, nature is offered to the spirit. The spirit is able to sink into nature, if one deeply wants
this in the feeling.
But the spirit that sinks into nature is love. Spirit gets to know its own depth, getting to know the depth
of its own dependence on nature.
The spirit can only sink into nature with its alert forces by the extinction of feeling, which is only
possible in humans if these alert forces oppose to the body as well as the spirit, from which they were
born. Now spirit does not sink into the physical categories, but into the newly woken up supernatural life-
current: which, binding to the physical, determines the categories.
The categories create the border where the flow of the spirit halts and where the awake consciousness
is established: which has the opportunity to discern that it comes from the spirit. Disease, pain, death have
to accompany man as long as awake consciousness opposes its bearer as well as its source.
Transcending the border is the communion with the world: communion in the sensory with which we
are united only in the extrasensory. This is the movement of the extrasensory in the sensory: the
identification of the spirit-bearer with the spirit, by which the necessity of disease and death begins to
cease: love acts as a life force.

5
Whom or what we love, we will not feel, because he/she/it will come to give life where habitual
feeling fades. Disembodied feeling awakes, which can be felt physically.
The spirit and its bearer begin unite due to the capabilities of the Logos working in the soul.
Happiness does not come from the body, but from what is independent of the body. This cannot
subordinate itself to the mediation of physical sensation or the nervous system without corrupting itself:
every time it dies in the body, where the depth is too deep for the spirit to sink awake.
On can contemplate the dream and the vitality of feeling even by a consciousness based on the nervous
system: if this consciousness is open to its infinity.
One can eliminate the feeling for the spirit, if this feeling is strong, robust and flowing like the sea. It
moves what must calm down: what can be calm and empty. It opens the way, creates the space for real
feeling, which is the fabric of peace: and is alive in this peace.

13.

Vehemence becomes lightness, diffusing the unnecessary saturation of feeling. It becomes airy and it
becomes the capacity to expand in space.
Like the fast flight of a bird above the world of facts. Like the gliding of wings, which always leaves
things and the world in their evolution. Being in balance, which can be wanted every time so much that
we can love the appearance for what appears in it.
‘Sink into the appearance’ – that is the teaching. In other words: enter into the skin of appearance, not
allowing it to work as it is.
The skin of appearance is the dragon’s skin, which always grabs the feeling in its claws, which we do
not realize: therefore we only possess feeling as the feeling of being grabbed. ‘Being grabbed’ – this is
the habitual feeling.
Now the claws cannot do anything anymore, because they only grab air. It reaches towards the feeling,
but grasp the void.
The feeling will be felt. Being felt, it disappears. In its place real feeling is born: which is not subject
to appearance.

14.

It is a mistake that feeling results directly from perception. This is the style of an animal.
Perception should be the perception of the Self: from whom the real feeling may arise.
The feeling bound to appearance, which is not moved by true perception, because it is not a movement
in the Self by the senses, is distorting and killing life.
This feeling should not affect thinking: so that thinking may be its healer.
This habitual feeling feeds anxiety, desire, aversion, fear and disease: it is the feeling that one must
empty or reconcile or release.
If released, it reconciles, if reconciled, it extinguishes. If extinguished, it resurrects.
It is necessary to experience disease, fear, aversion, desire, anxiety in order to know how to let go of
the feeling, how to reconcile it, how to extinguish it.
Letting go, reconciliation, extinction, however, lead us to understand what not to feel in the feeling,
what the feeling should be deprived of.
We can say that it is necessary not to feel that feeling.
‘Sink into the appearance.’
‘Into the appearance you sink.’ This is the secret. ‘Step into the skin of appearance’, or ‘Be like the
carp, which glides free in the water and disappears in it’: these are the teachings of the same movement.

15.

One has to exhaust the emotion within the feeling: by removing the barriers from its extensive and
unbounded presence: by seeing these barriers and grasping the notion, feeling it in the middle zone.
The task is to realize the lucid presence of thinking, and to sink into the appearance, to enter the skin of
appearance: which is entering the usual feeling, as if entering a fog, in which we move freely: free from

6
all mental imagery, thinking or feeling. Thus feeling is separated from everything that falls within the
scope of the head, and is present as the flowing life of the middle zone.
The extinction of feeling results in a feeling, which does not drive us, but in the movement of which
we can live. The fog will become translucent airiness woven out of pure life, in which we can spread our
wings.
This ability of feeling to become extinct creates the empty consciousness: which can receive the
messages of the world with their direct, liberated inner lucidity.
We have to notice appearance as appearance to get to know consciousness free from appearance.
Then appearance does not effect the empty consciousness, but it becomes the symbol of what it
expresses. The dragon's claws cannot grasp the soul, because feeling is separated from it.
Appearance manifests the miracles: it is their unknown sign(et).

16.

Eliminate the emotion, quench the emotion, not feel within the emotion, these all are the aspects of the
same movement, a movement out of an ability, with which we gift the feeling to the existence and the
world. To the existence and the world, the richness of these we would never know otherwise .
The usual feeling makes human relations rigid. It is therefore not possible to have harmony between
individuals, and even less possible between groups, it is only possible to have groupings based on inferior
reasons: groupings of people who are not free, but are afraid to be free for various reasons, and only want
to form a group because of that.
The only feeling that is able to build relationships between people is one that gets to know how to
sacrifice its own form.

17.

In the feeling we can encounter life, if we indeed perceive the feeling: what feeling carries, not the
relationship of the ego with it. In the original reality of feeling life urges as love: this love breaks and gets
distorted in the personal emotions.
Inside the feeling we can find life again: we can rise up to the original heart.
In all feelings the original love is crucified: but exactly crucifixion holds the possibility of resurrection:
the possibility for the appearance of human love. This is what the gods expect: this is what should take
place also.
Anxiety, pain, humiliation, despair as well as joy, resignation, romantic love and hope are possibilities
for love to resurrect – love seeks to find its way in us these ways.
The deepest pain is the deepest request for love: the divine in us requests it from us.
Inside all feelings one can find divine love.

18.

The peace of feeling is the realization of non-feeling, by remembering the inner substance, in the
feeling that made life sick.
We recall this feeling and terminate it in the memory of the event that caused it: by terminating it, we
come to a new meaning in the memory of the event.
The event becomes alive again by the termination of the feeling caused by the event. The researcher
re-experiences the event, terminates the feeling caused by it, and realizes non-feeling. Then the event
becomes alive again out of a timeless and yet living content, to which contemplating attention turns at the
same time. In this content begins the peace of feeling.
Contemplation is always a resting inside.

19.

The ability to feel calm – owned by a few people – is the ability to transform one’s destiny: the
necessity of which is expressed in the soul as feeling.

7
Who is active in the feeling, is active in the heart of the world. Because he wakes up real feeling:
which no longer hurts the soul and the heart, but is the ability to sink into the soul and into the heart of the
world. It is the ability of the thinker, the poet, and the researcher.
This is the termination of feeling up to the body's borders: which is the body of remembrance.
Therefore, we can always enter any memory that manifests as a feeling.
The body sinks into the peace of its timeless existence, and only accepts its own movement: which
should manifest not as a feeling, but as will. Getting rid of the sickening feeling.
The termination of feeling is the new movement of feeling, which does not affect breathing: it leaves it
in its intact and immaterial aspect.

20.

Terminating the feeling is the gesture of love. Terminating the feeling – the subhuman feeling – is not
possible for anyone who does move out of pure love; without having its light and warmth, one cannot
fulfil the sacrifice of feeling.
Love requires the emptiness of feeling as its operating area. It requires the sacrifice of feeling, the
death of feeling. But it is the emergence of life as the ability of peace: this peace is the first way of life of
feeling, in which it feels the world.
No compassion is there unless out of this peace, which is the gentle death of feeling.
Compassion is the feeling, which resurrects.
But this is the separation of feeling from aversion: then aversion will become a different kind of force:
it awakens in the soul as the ability of will. This is the separation of feeling from pain: pain becomes the
transparency of happiness.
We can say yes to the death of feeling for the sake love, because this feeling is a closing down that
separates us from the movement of love.

21.

On can only separate the feeling from the instincts and personal emotions if one really feels the
feeling: those, who avoid the feeling or limit it to the feeling of themselves, cannot do this separation.
The work is to separate the feeling, which is rhythm in itself, from the deep incentive-sentient life,
which opposes this rhythm, as it still belongs to the ancient "chaos": this is the earthiness of man.
But this is also the separation of thinking from feeling: the separation of the idea of the thing from the
emotion caused by the thing. This is the task of thinking: to be independent in its own diamond light from
the fine layers of instincts and emotional movements: and to penetrate feeling with the strength of this
diamond light. The life of this light is the hidden life-fluid of feeling.
The work is to separate feeling from the instincts, to take the feeling back from them: in such a way
that feelings should be available in their objective dynamics. Thus, we turn them back to mere forces:
which converge in the Self.
This means the liberation from whatever evil, which seems to be invincible, and which only manifests
in order to be triumphed over: because these evils are always the projections of the illusory feeling.
There is no problem that cannot be traced back to the illusory feeling, which manifests its fate-power
in the problem: this can exist only through this illusory form of feeling: we have to suffer this feeling
until it terminates itself, so that fate can manifest its creative power. This, however, can be followed
through a thinking, which can freely immerse in it.
The task is to terminate emotion, which grabs the thinking and the will: by which the thinking and the
will are bound to the corporeality.
The termination of feeling is the possibility of thinking, which reaches the lucidity of its power: this
diffuses and turns feeling into thinking: out of which the element of desire and anxiety disappears like fog
in sunshine.
The disappearance of the fog is the glowing up of what dispels it: this is the feeling that resurrects: the
love of man the Gods are waiting for, to know what it means to be loved – They, who emanate love – to
be loved by a free creature, whose conscious form was born out of opposing Love.

8
The feeling that resurrects is goodness: the essence of intelligence, the essence of love: the only
measure of human value. It is not the goodness of weakness, but the goodness of power.

22.

The aim is the clarity of thinking, which sinks into its own life after meeting the darkness in the
feeling. The aim is the presence in the light, which has to be called out while hiding in darkness, in order
to break out, to turn back death and to flow as life: in order to manifest love. In order to excite
compassion, which touches beings as the touch of life.
The secret of darkness can never really be known by the ones who are grabbed by it, who live in it by
the extinction of light.
The termination of feeling is calmness: the measure of the Divine. But it is also the emergence of the
life of light: of the light, which does not need to be mirrored, does not need to die in order for the soul to
live. This is the emergence of the new feeling.
One experiences the death of feeling as a birth in death. This is the feeling of the Self.
At this point, the awareness of the Self coincides with the life of the Self.
Therefore death is eliminated.

23.

One has to want this non-feeling. In order to want it, one has to think it. It has to become an
imagination.
One has to consume the memory of feeling. One has to consume the feeling in memories. The memory
is the feeling: which requires the presence of who remembers. The presence of one who remembers is the
non-feeling.
The non-feeling is the feeling, which appears as disembodied light, which has a life force. We were
always glad and sad because through this: essentially always becoming subject of the illusory feeling.
We were always glad and sad to finally possess feeling as pain, as big pain, which was always pain.
Now this pain disappears. Disappears, because we now possess it, because it is ours. It should be ours,
otherwise we would not know what it is that has to disappear.
This pain is sacred because of its ability to disappear in order for light to be reborn: this light is the life
resurrecting from permeated darkness.
What is the death of feeling, then? It is the wanted death.
But who wants to die, will not die.
The death of feeling is the holy will. The holy will is the alive thinking. Feeling dies and is reborn in
the alive thinking.
In thinking, the sacrifice of feeling is fulfilled, because the original life of feeling is in the inner
movement of thinking.
Thinking will be the guardian of the tomb of feeling: to indicate that it is not in the grave, it
resurrected. Resurrects.
This is the dawn after the dark night of the soul.
