Reflection for SW 1

Reflection for SW 4

The only difficulty Ive encountered in

this seatwork was the plotting of points.
It became difficult in the sense that it is
nakakaduling and not because I dont
know how to plot points. I learned in this
seatwork that being careful is the key to
finish everything correctly. Patience for
this activity made me go on and finish
my task.

I can improve my score in this seatwork

by knowing how to manage my time and
also by solving problems that scope my
difficulty. In the seatwork, one of the
reason why I got wrong in some items
was lack of time. Even though I skipped
some numbers to be able to answer the
others first, I still crammed with those
numbers. Another reason was because
some of the problems fell under those
type of problems that I dont expect to
come out. That is why I got wrong in
those numbers. I learned that every
problem has its solution. It is only up to
me if I will work for it or not.

Reflection for SW 2
The only difficulty Ive encountered in
this seatwork is the tabular method.
There was this portion in this seatwork
wherein I need to find the other value of
the variable and at the same time made
sure that the result will be integral.
Thinking about the value and graphing
consumed my time. I learned that time
management is very important because
it allows me to finish early and go back
to check my answers.

Reflection for SW 3
I can maintain my score in this seatwork
by solving systematically. In the
seatwork, some questions were tricky
because signs may change due to the
double negative sign. Luckily, Ive
answered all correctly because I solved
systematically. I have learned in this
seatwork that rushing may cause my
downfall. It is better to solve slowly
especially when I am sure that I am
correct in every number.

Reflection for SW 5
I can maintain my score in this seatwork
by solving diligently throughout the
worksheet. One of the main reasons
why working diligently is important is
because many students get wrong
because they get tired easily when
problems with very high numbers
appeared. That is why I learned that
hard work pays off.

Reflection for Quiz 1

I can maintain my score in this quiz by
practicing at home. In the quiz, the last
part dealt with plotting of points which is
not that hard, but even though it is easy,
it is still confusing because I might
interchange the position of the ordered
pair. I learned in this seatwork that
practice matters. Practicing may be of
big help especially when confusion
strikes me.

Reflection for Quiz 2

The only difficulty Ive encountered I this
quiz was the last number. The last item
dealt with graphing using the slopeintercept solution. When I solved for the
slope, the answer was 4. At first I was
clueless on how to graph it because
usually the slope is not integral but after
sometime I realized that 4 can be written
4
as 1 which made graphing possible.
I learned in this quiz that stopping for a
moment to think helps. Sometimes the
problem may be complex but the
answer is simple.
Reflection for Quiz 3
I can improve my score in this quiz by
solving more carefully. One of the
reasons why I got a low score is my
carelessness. That is why next time I will
try to slowly solve the problems but
improve my accuracy. I learned I this
quiz that I must take every opportunity
given to me to practice and review so
that I will hone my skills in solving every
problem.
Reflection for Quiz 4
I can improve my score in this quiz by
analyzing statements more carefully. In
the quiz, the reason why I got mistakes
was because of carelessness. I think I
can solve this bad habit of mine by
becoming more patient and careful. I
learned through my mistakes that speed
is only secondary to accuracy.

Reflection for Homework 1

The only difficulty Ive had in this
homework is the fact that there are [1]
many equations to be memorized and I
am confused which to apply, [2] the
substitution may change the sign
especially when the given is negative
and the operation is negative too, and
[3] transposition with different signs. In
the homework the most confusing part
was the substitution part. But even
though it is confusing, I still managed to
overcome that. I learned in this
homework that problems are not solved
by complaining about them, theyre
solved by facing them.

Reflection for Homework 2

I can maintain my score in this
homework by taking time to solve each
problem considering that it is a
homework. Taking a moment to think
about what I am going to do next helps
not only myself but what will be the
outcome of it as I use it always. I also
learned that even if problems strike me
in piles, there is always an end to all of
those because I always think that I

cannot have a rainbow without a little

rain.

Homework 3

Reflection for L.T. 1

I can improve my score by becoming
more careful. The reason why I got a
mistake in this long test is because of
my carelessness in simplifying. With

this, I now learned that problems like

this cant be solved overnight, it takes
practice to be perfect. I should always
take the first step in order for change to
happen. Like what they say, good things
happen to those who wait but BEST
things happen to those who do.
Reflection for L.T. 2. I can improve my
score in this long test by not letting time
pressure become my downfall. In the
long test, one of my mistakes is
carelessness. This includes wrong signs
that was caused by time pressure. I
learned in this long test that keeping
calm will help me answer the questions
with ease. This is because I believe that
becoming tense only makes my mind
slower and it confuses the way I think.

Term Reflection
There are things and experiences that happened to me during this term. I
can say that because of these experiences, I have developed some things that are
beyond academics. These are the things that are needed for me to live to my fullest
potential in the world outside school. In a nut shell, here is the list of things I learned as I
pass the road of experiencing the joy of Math and other subjects as well.
Mathematics helped me understand and appreciate the different values in
life. Through games and contest in the classroom, I experienced that losing is only a
temporary condition and giving up is what makes it permanent. I dont have to give up
because life always offers a second chance which is what we call tomorrow. So
whenever I experience losing in the game during Math drills, I dont complain, I just work
harder the next time. I know good things happen to those who wait but best things
happen to those who do. This made me to love the work I am doing because as I
observe it, I cant have a rainbow without a little rain. Work will also be a part of
everybodys life. There is no elevator to success. I must take the stairs and climbing up
a stair means hard work. Every day as I face the challenges ahead of me I made up my
mind to win and this made me never say impossible to the challenges. If failure is still
there which is I think inevitable, I told myself that there is always rising after the falling.
If I want to achieve my goal, I have to begin with the little steps. I have to do good little
by little if I want to make my good better, and my better best. I want to be the change I
want to see the world but I have to plant the seed of patience, perseverance, love of
work, etc. in order to harvest success and be the person who is deserving for all the
gifts which GOD gave me. I want to give back what my teachers taught me in life. They
became instrument of love for me to discover my potential in life.
I learned that the idea of some students that school is just making things harder for
them is wrong. School teaches us not only academics but also virtues that accompany
it. Some might not see it now but I believe that they will come to the realization that
everything was created for a purpose.
