ABSTRACT
The title of the project is A STUDY ON JOB SATISFACTION AMONG
EMPLOYEES IS KANAM LATEX PRIVATE LIMITED, PARVATHIPURAM .

job

satisfaction is a persons attitude towards job. Job satisfaction is an attitude which results from
balancing & summation of many specific likes and dislikes experienced in connection with the
job- their evaluation may rest largely upon ones success or failure in the achievement of
personal objective and upon perceived combination of the job and combination towards these
ends.
Located at the Southern Tip of India, at Nagercoil, KANAM LATEX INDUSTRIES,
PARVATHIPURAM is part of the Ooppoottil Group of Companies, founded by Late Mr.
Kurian Abraham and currently under the leadership of Mr. A Kurian, the group has been in the
Rubber Industry since 1946 with extensive interest in Rubber plantations, and are the largest
manufacturers of Centrifuged Latex in India.
The scope of the study is to

identifying the area of dissatisfaction for job of the

employees, to identify the employees level of satisfaction upon the job, to identify the
employees level of satisfaction towards welfare measure.
The main objectives of the study is to identify the satisfaction level of employees in
Kanam Latex Private Limited and related to the factor which improve the satisfaction level of
employees and finally to offer valuable suggestion to the company
The study was carried out through Questionnaire Survey. The gathered data was analyzed
by using statistical tools like karlpearson method, regression analysis method, moving average
method. Finally researcher recommends that the job provides the opportunity to the employees
to exercise his/her skills at work place.Number of the employees accepted that at times there is a
considerable flexibility in co-coordinating with work and they are satisfied with the existing inter
personal communication.
