Target Situation:
This lesson would be a part of a course for students who want to study
general English in a language course. Since these students want to study a
foreign language to have communication and develop all the skills that the
process requires they must be able to read texts of any sort quite accurately.
Therefore, they take part in this course also to develop and improve their
reading, and to become more effective readers. Meaning is the focus and
content-oriented instructions are used.
The participants are pre intermediate level speakers of English, so all the
communication is done in the target language. The teacher is just a facilitator.
