MRSM TAIPING

1. INTRODUCTION
This paper is submitted for the consideration of MRSM Taiping to conduct
fortnightly debate trainings in preparation for various debating tournaments.
2. OBJECTIVES
a. To train MRSM Taiping debate teams on basic and advanced debating
skills.
b. To produce a debate team that can be competitive in local and
international debate tournaments.
3. TRAINING METHODS
a. Mass Lecture on Basic and Advanced Debating Concepts.
b. Group Discussions/Drills.
c. Debate Practices.
4. LEAD TRAINERS (*Lead trainers may not necessarily attend all
sessions)

5. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
a. LOGISTIC
i. 3 Classrooms for debate lectures, group discussions and
practice debates
ii. Whiteboards
iii. Projectors and speakers
b. TRAINING SCHEDULE
i. Training will be conducted on weekends (Saturdays).
ii. Each training session will be 4 (min) 6 (max) hours long.
c. TRAINERS ALLOWANCE
i. Minimum of 2 trainers will attend each session
ii. Training allowance per session: RM 120/hour (Min RM480 - Max
RM720)
iii. Transportation allowance per session: RM100
(All of the debate trainers reside in Klang Valley)
iv. Estimated trainer allowance per session : RM580 RM820
v. Estimated trainer allowance per month: RM1160 RM1640
vi. Estimated trainer allowance for Feb to Oct : RM10,440
RM14,760
Note:
1. Meals and accommodation for the trainers are to be provided by the
organizer.
2. Complete training module will be provided upon confirmation of
appointment.
