4. Repeat ‘attaching’ procedures & emphasize
accordingly; 2 tens=20 ones, 3 tens=30 ones etc
5. Prompt chn to count again individually

Procedures:
Tune in: Bring chn to Dining area & intro e menu to chn
1. Display & intro ingredients to chn
2. Demo to chn to scoop ice cream into plastic cups, follow
by bread.
3. Next, encourage chn to do by themselves.
4. Allow chn to choose their preferred flavor of ice cream
& add toppings creatively(Chn’s initiation)
5. Next, encourage chn to pretend play as ‘Ice cream
Vendor’ & customers
6. Allow chn to use colorful coins for them to make
payment.
Closure: Chn help to tidy up activity area
Evaluation: Chn enjoyed the activity tremendously!
Cnhn showed good motor skill at preparing the ice
cream. They took turns to be the Vendor & customers.

the Music & Movement (They chose most of the songs

They also used the materials/accessories/toys
appropriately e.g. put on necklace around the neck,
bracelet in the wrist etc.

use it to dig e sand (in sandpit) & make drain
2. Next, ask chn to fill up e pails with water(from e
tap) & pour it into e drain
3. Encourage chn to divide their job & work together
cooperatively to complete their assignment(given
by Tr; make drain)
Closure: Chn wash up & go back to classroom
Evaluation: Chn asked to be guided to make the drain.
However, they gradually continue digging & making
the drain by themselves!

Evaluation: Most of chn preferred to use the hose
instead. However they were encouraged to use the
pails & containers as well. Chn initiated to be the
paramedic as well to bring the victims to hospital in
‘imaginative ambulance van’ (They asked Tr “Who are
the people who work in the ambulance van”)
